Cookie Emoji Meaning

A round, golden-brown chocolate chip cookie or biscuit. Used to represent cookies or biscuits in general. May also be used in references to website cookies or browser tracking.

Toss Face is distinctive in having a scalloped edge.

Samsung's original design featured a pair of pale square biscuits resembling saltine crackers. They may have been inspired by Haitai Ace crackers, a popular South Korean brand of square, perforated biscuits. Samsung briefly switched to two chocolate chip cookies in 2018, before adopting a single chocolate chip cookie in 2019.

Some early JoyPixels designs depicted a cookie with a bite taken out of it, as did HTC's design.

This emoji predates the inclusion and standardization of emojis within Unicode. It was first added to early Japanese emoji keyboards by au by KDDI in 2003.
