Feature Requests

Currently (as of Sep 2026), the older packageManager top-level field in package.json is supported, but this is marked as legacy by pnpm docs ( https://pnpm.io/package_json#devenginespackagemanager ). pnpm v11+ self-manages pnpm versions by default using the modern devEngines.packageManager field. The current latest version of pnpm is v12 (the Rust rewrite). Using either v11 or v12 would enable usage of the modern devEngines.packageManager field.

While Render supports storing data on disks, it would be great to have a really easy to use object storage feature with the capabilities of AWS S3. This would be accessible via S3-compatible APIs and will be used to store arbitrary blobs like images and videos.

It would be awesome to have Swiss region for services. Especially DBs. Switzerland has an similar to GDPR - Datenschutzgesetz (DGS), and it is a frequent requirement to "store data in Switzerland". There are no current PAAS options for this region even tho cloud is available: Azure, GCP and AWS since recently. It would be great if render.com will expand to this region. Sincerely, Bogdan.

For financial services products (UK is a FinTech hub) many agreements require that data be located within the UK.
