I joined Speer as a founding engineer and worked my way up: senior engineer, frontend lead, and now running engineering. Along the way I helped scale the company from zero to a multi-million-dollar business with 1,005% three-year revenue growth, recognized two years running in The Globe and Mail's Canada's Top Growing Companies (2024, 2025).
- Agents: AI teammates you hire by role, embedded in your Slack, GitHub, and Linear, owning the loop from ticket to PR to deploy. I authored the platform architecture: deterministic orchestration, agentic execution inside bounded scopes. Competitively selected for a $100k co-funded production deployment by a federally funded Canadian AI supercluster.
- Led product across web and mobile for an A-list Hollywood celebrity's apparel brand, serving millions of monthly visitors. Held 10M hits on launch day.
- ChillRx: frontend for the world's first decentralized record label, with 2x Grammy-nominated producer Sidney Swift. ~30k hits in the first 15 minutes; sold out in ~12 hours (~743 ETH, ~$1.96M at the time).
- A pharmacy management platform built from the ground up for a Fortune 15 retailer, replacing the decades-old incumbent that dominates the industry.
- Reelio: a profitable, fully passive Shopify app. Custom edge analytics ingesting upwards of 5 million events per day; ~10-15ms responses across three continents.
- BuildingCheck: a free civic-tech site helping Toronto renters vet a building before they sign, combining City of Toronto inspection data with moderated resident reviews. 3,600+ buildings on ~$0/month infrastructure.
- A content site built and operated solo, in a niche I'm keeping quiet. 372 pages indexed within four months, page-1 rankings across the core query cluster, and clicks doubling every four weeks. One date-aware discovery tool generates 59% of all clicks. Built a repeatable four-week Research → Build → Distribute → Analyze operating loop rather than relying on intuition. Runs at $0/month.
- Blackjack ProTrainer 🏆: real-time coaching against "The Book". Built in ~2.5 hours from one edge-case-heavy PRD; won Speer's internal vibe-coding contest.
