##👋 What's good?

I'm Eliot, a 2025 Mathematics grad from UC Riverside. I build data tools and turn messy information into things people can actually use.

My core is data analysis, visualization, and dashboards in Python and SQL. I work in Streamlit, PyQt5, and Dash for interactive apps, and I lean on the usual Python stack (pandas, Plotly) for wrangling and shaping data. I'm comfortable across the whole path: pulling from SQL databases, cleaning and transforming, and digging through exploratory analysis to find the story underneath. I'm also grounded in experiment design and A/B testing, so I can support decisions instead of just charting them.

What sets my projects apart is that I don't build in a vacuum. On some of them I've spent 70% of my time out gathering user feedback, from close friends and family to local businesses and corporate teams. For LAyudar, my LA fire-relief inventory tracker, that meant cold-calling and driving to emergency shelters, firehouses, and churches to collect the user-experience data that shaped the tool. I care as much about whether something gets used as whether it runs.

Lately I'm pushing past dashboards into full application deployment, picking up React and Rust and shipping projects on Render. I like turning ideas into actionable, usable code, and I want to keep working somewhere that challenges me to build bigger.

##💭 Outside of Tech

I tutored calculus and physics for two years, and the moment a hard concept finally clicks for someone is still my favorite part of the week. I'm an introvert at heart, but I keep landing on the same truth: the core of it is meeting people, trading stories, and sharing what we've each figured out.
