this month we are running an html energy fundraiser.

every year we run HTML Day, a worldwide gathering in cities all over the world to celebrate HTML. we also run:

• write.html.energy, a free place to write HTML right in your browser
• a podcast
• spread the good word of html
• create energy
• this very website

html energy is run by two people, an artist and an educator. we aren't funded by grants or private money, and we don't have startup funding or any of that. it's just us, and you.

we just paid $156 to renew the html.energy domain name. we pay it every year, and it gets more expensive every year. that's only the domain, not the hosting or the server and our <time>.

if html energy has given you some energy, please give some back. anything helps. the first $156 covers the domain, and everything after that goes to keeping the server on and putting on the next HTML Day.
