On 1 September 2026, on the application of the Delhi Police itself, the Supreme Court invoked Article 142 to quash all thirteen FIRs registered in Delhi over the protests of 20 to 25 July "along with any proceedings arising therefrom".

On 9 September 2026, the Delhi High Court issued summons in Pulkit Mani v. Meta Platforms Inc. & Ors., a commercial suit by a stand-up comedian whose original reels were removed from Instagram on copyright complaints filed by anonymous accounts. IFF's legal team appeared pro bono.
