Why we test this much
Purity is a share. It cannot tell you how much is in the vial.
A purity figure says what proportion of the powder is the peptide. It says nothing about whether the molecule is the right one, how many milligrams are actually there, or whether anything grew in it on the way here. A vial can be almost entirely peptide and still hold a fraction of what the label claims. Those are separate questions, they need separate methods, and one number cannot answer them.

The certificate belongs to the lot, not to the product. Two vials of the same compound from different lots carry different paperwork, and both get published.
Sterility and endotoxin carry the date they start appearing on certificates. The panel is defined before it is complete, which is the only order that can be checked.

Buying a peptide online is a bet on a label.
You cannot open the vial and check it, and you should not have to send it to a lab yourself and wait two weeks to find out what you bought.
So the certificate is published by lot, on the compound's page, before you spend anything. Not a sample certificate, not last year's. It carries the lab's own code, so you check it on the lab's site, not ours.
The one thing you would otherwise have to take on trust is the one thing you can check.

What does research use only mean?
These are sold for laboratory research. They are not sold for human or veterinary use, and nothing on this site should be read as a suggestion otherwise.
What is actually in the panel?
The five tests named above, each with its method beside it. Each certificate lists which of them its lot carries. Endotoxin and sterility are on the newer lots, so the panel is defined before it is complete rather than after.
Is the certificate for my vial?
The certificate belongs to a lot, not to a product. It is published on the compound's page under its lot number, with the lab's code so you can check it on the lab's own site.
Why is there no purity figure on the listing?
Because purity is measured per lot. A number printed on a product page would be a number about a different lot than the one you receive.
What arrives?
For vials, a sealed vial of lyophilised powder labelled with the compound and the size. Tablets arrive in a sealed bottle, sprays in a metered one.
Do you publish the lots that fail?
No, because a lot that fails is not released, so there is no vial of it to publish a certificate against. A lot fails when the compound is not the one on the label, the quantity is outside spec, the endotoxin level is too high, or it does not meet the purity spec. That has happened. Those lots did not ship.
