A copilot, not an autopilot
Kuno drafts, finds the angle from what's worked before, and can schedule when you ask it to — it doesn't post without you saying so, and it doesn't write in a voice that isn't yours. It also speaks MCP, so Claude — or anything else that speaks it — can do the same on your behalf, with keys scoped to one group of accounts so an agent working on the business can't touch the personal ones.

Posting immediately is cheaper than scheduling everywhere, because scheduling is the part that has to hold the post and run the machinery that fires it later. X costs more because X charges us more — roughly thirteen times more for a post with a link in it. That is passed through, not marked up.

Why switch to Kunopilot?

Do I have to subscribe?
No. Top-ups are the default and the subscription is the optional discount, not the other way round. If you post in bursts — a launch week, then nothing for a month — buying a pack when you need one will cost you less than a plan sitting idle.
What happens to credits I don’t spend?
Nothing resets at the end of the month. Credits you bought are still there next time you open the app, whether they came from a pack or a subscription. Cancelling a subscription doesn’t take away the balance you already paid for.
Does Kuno post on my behalf without me knowing?
No. Kuno is there to find the angle and do the busy work — reading what's performed well, drafting, fitting a post to your voice — not to run your accounts for you. It schedules only when you ask it to in that conversation, and publishing immediately always needs an explicit yes. Nothing goes out because it decided the moment was right.
Can I use my own AI key?
Yes, and it’s the recommended way. Connect an Anthropic or OpenAI key and every AI feature costs you 0 credits — you pay your provider directly, at their price, with no margin from us. Our key is there for people who would rather not hold one.
There is also a free path that needs no AI key at all: export the exact prompt Kunopilot would have sent, with your real posts already in it, and run it wherever you like.
Why is X so much more expensive?
Because X’s API charges us far more than the others, and about thirteen times more again for a post containing a link. Bluesky and Threads have no link surcharge because a link genuinely costs us nothing there. Rather than average it all out and overcharge Bluesky users to subsidise X, the prices say what each thing actually costs.
Can I drive it from my own scripts?
Yes. There is a documented REST API and an MCP server, so Claude Code, Claude Desktop, a cron job or your own code can all use it. API keys carry a read-only or read-and-write scope, and can be limited to a single group of accounts.
What about the accounts I’ve already connected elsewhere?
You connect accounts directly — Bluesky through its own sign-in or an app password, Threads and X through their normal authorisation screens. Posting always goes out through your own connected account, never a shared one, so what you publish is yours and looks like it.
