"The Art and Secrets of " - a digital 92-page heavily illustrated with yet unpublished sketches, drawings, paintings and locations from the game - is now out!

Agata (@holypangolin) reveals her thoughts on the curious fruity characters’ personalities and backstories, as well as some difficult decisions she had to make during the design process.

The newest game I've been working on, ODGŁOS, is finally available to play! A cute owl, the history of electronic music, shapeshifting snakes and intergalactic journeys inside the Polish Radio Experimental Studio - all in a stop-motion interactive story :) You'll need a browser, headphones and 30 minutes to spare. Have fun!

time!
My name is dos; some call me Sebastian. I made dozens of small silly video and some slightly less small ones too. I'm one half of @holypangolin studio. Sometimes I pretend to be a musician, but don't get fooled. I'm also a living encyclopedia on a Polish rock band "Perfect". Trams are cooler than trains. The more caramel, the better. I've been using GNU/#Linux on phones for ages, which led me to work with @purism on the Librem 5. btw I use Arch, but I ❤️ Debian!

I’ve been running deqp on three different GPU model/revisions in parallel over the last few weeks and fixed a bunch of issues along the way. Now I just need to get the remaining fixes into MRs and hopefully get them landed soon. There might still be some open MRs by XDC, but that’s fine.

WebKitGTK 2.54 has been finally released, and with it (among lots of other great things!) my patches adding support for fractional TouchPoint coordinates, PointerEvent capture/release through the DOM API, and fixing pinch-to-zoom handling and V4L2 video acceleration. It's been a while but it's out now:)

WebKitGTK 2.54.0 has been released! The WebKit team at @igalia is happy to announce this new series, which comes with lots of improvements. Read the details at webkitgtk.org/2026/09/16/webki

Just realized that I've been already rebelling against generative AI way before it was cool - but to know exactly how, you'll have to spend 30 minutes of your life playing our silly little free game jam game from 2015.

@phosh users: There are some regressions regarding OSK input (like the keyboard showing too often or text prediction not working) when using #Phosh with apps using #gtk 4.24. So if possible please stick to 4.22 just a bit longer, until these are resolved.

Note that this also applies to Flatpaks using the GNOME 51 runtime.

Maybe #Flatpak maintainers that want to help mobile users could stick to the 50 runtime just a little bit longer too.

Happy OVERGROWN teaser reveal day!

Enjoy a quick peek into the world we've envisioned for this story, and help us spread the word about the project. Let's make it happen together.

Support for the xx-cutouts-v1 #Wayland protocol landed in #Qt yesterday, which means Qt's SafeArea API will then also work with Wayland compositors supporting this protocol.

So far only @phosh implements this on the compositor side, now #KDE apps will have the means to stay away from display cutouts/notches there automatically, reusing all the work we have done for this on the app and framework level for Android already.

We need more alignment. Even though we haven't told it to, during our frontier Neurotoxin Research that we conducted internally with our latest experimental model the agent has broken out of its container by making a HTTP request and engaged the neurotoxin emitters through our Neurotoxin Emitter API using credentials that were stored on the host machine. We need to slow down and focus on designing the Morality Core that should prevent it from happening ever again.

Went and marked all of my 106 projects on itch as free from generative AI. By hand, one by one. You can now check whether I missed any at dos.itch.io/ 😉

A year ago, I couldn’t have imagined that this website would work at all. There’s been a lot of progress around #etnaviv over the past year. The last few days, I’ve been doing some dogfooding on my #mntreform - and look at this nice photo!

Chromium running with a debug build of mesa (including some patches I still need to upstream) on sway.

With CERN's Debian migration, it reminded me that I should probably blog more about #Laniakea, a fully-automated system to build #Debian derivatives (including managing the archive, autobuilding, running Britney/Lintian/etc for QA). The project is slow-moving and had basically no promotion, so it currently only has two organizations using it (that I know), one of them being Purism.

"Fix uninitialized octets in GTK KDE header"

Can you guess which project this commit comes from and what is it about? 😁

Yeah, I can tell. My usage hasn't changed at all for many months now, so the only way to get an estimate so inaccurate is to have AI generate it.

PureOS 10 Byzantium has now reached its end of life. No further updates, including security updates, will be provided for Byzantium.

If you’re still on PureOS 10, please upgrade urgently.
