Linzhe Jiang 姜麟哲

I work at the intersection of surgical robotics, computer vision, and medical AI. My research explores how spatially grounded systems can perceive anatomy, reason over surgical scenes, and support image-guided intervention.

I completed an MSc in Medical Robotics and Artificial Intelligence at University College London and a joint BEng program at Southwest Jiaotong University and the University of Leeds. I am a visiting student researcher in thoracic surgery at Tianjin Union Medical Center and a remote research assistant at the University of Manchester.

I am seeking Fall 2027 PhD opportunities in surgical vision, 3D reconstruction and registration, vision-language models, and image-guided surgical navigation.

Research ( )

My long-term interest is trustworthy spatial understanding in surgery: connecting preoperative anatomy to changing intraoperative observations. I work across surgical vision, 3D registration, and multimodal reasoning.
