We all met while working at the same company. Different roles, but similar instincts: get close to the problem, ask hard questions, and make something useful.
Eventually we went our separate ways, but we missed working together enough to start again. This time we get to decide what kind of company it is.
What we decided
Small on purpose.
We're not trying to build a company that eventually becomes 11 people doing actual work and 64 people asking for updates. We like the work we do, and we're not afraid to take on the challenge of building a small, purposeful company.
Good is the floor.
We're not precious about craft, and nobody here will lecture you about typography (well... maybe a little). We don't ship work we'd be embarrassed to sign, and our names are on all of it.
We'd rather be honest than hired.
Sometimes the right answer is a spreadsheet, a smaller idea, or nothing at all. We'll say so before you pay us, which has cost us a project or two and has never once cost us any sleep.
We use AI. We don't sell it.
It clears the grunt work so we can spend our time on the decisions that still need a human. A good tool wants you to stop needing it. Those are the ones worth building.
No pretending.
No wall of logos we didn't earn, no invented case studies, no trusted-by-thousands badge. What's on this site is what we've done, and we're not rounding up.
None of this is a growth strategy. It's just the kind of company we'd want to hire.
