Forward Motion is an Indianapolis based new music chamber ensemble that advocates for the creation of new works by presenting innovative performances in a variety of spaces. Forward Motion has commissioned and premiered dozens of new chamber works. Our core instrumentation consists of flute, clarinet, violin, cello, piano and percussion. The group's activity is fluid and involves many innovative combinations of this core instrumentation.We invite you to join us in funding the creation of contemporary art music! Every dollar donated through our Patreon will go directly towards our commissioning projects.
