Rob Charlebois shared thisSome career moments feel like coming full circle. This is one of them. I had the privilege of working closely with Prasannaa Ganesan for a decade during my earlier years at Corel Corporation. What always struck me wasn't just his product instincts. It was his conviction that technology should amplify human creativity, never replace it. So when I see him talk about AI in CorelDRAW Graphics Suite keeping "𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞," I know it's not marketing language. It's how he's always thought. And it reflects a truth I've watched him prove over and over: 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐬. Designers who get hours back in their week stay, upgrade, and tell others. That's how customer value becomes company value. 𝐈𝐭'𝐬 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬, 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐨𝐧𝐞. That's the thing about this release. It isn't AI for the sake of AI. It's productivity that shows up in a designer's day, and that kind of value compounds for everyone with a stake in what Corel builds next. Getting to build alongside Prasannaa again, with the support of our partners at Vector Capital Management, and with tools this powerful in the hands of creators, is one of the best parts of being back. The next chapter of CorelDRAW is going to be something special. #CorelDRAW #AI #Leadership #CorelRob Charlebois shared thisGraphics professionals know time is money. That’s why we’ve introduced a new CorelDRAW Graphics Suite update that’s empowering them to use the power of AI to create incredible vector artwork, faster than ever. Our CEO, Prasannaa Ganesan, talks about the possibilities we’re unlocking for designers, helping them transform their inspiration into captivating artwork in record (and highly profitable) time.

Rob Charlebois posted thisI spent 3 hours writing a thoughtful post. It got 523 views. I spent 20 minutes writing a post with AI. It got over 15,000. So yeah… I think LinkedIn might be broken. This post is about #nothing. No pitch. No guide. No story. No CTA. No Framework. Just a bit of irony — I’m using AI to write a post about how mechanical AI-powered content gets all the attention. I know I’m not alone. If you’ve had a post that barely got seen, something you cared deeply about, that you hoped might get some views - drop it here so everyone can see it. I’ll read it. Others might too. Because maybe this post about nothing is actually about all of us. Let’s see what happens. #hackthealgo #beseen #seewhathappens

Rob Charlebois shared thisReality check... Today’s #AI is the worst you’ll ever use and it’s already reshaping everything. Kevin Weil said it best: "Even crazier: remember that these are the worst AI models you'll use for the rest of your life. Models are only getting more smarter, faster, cheaper, safer, more personalized, more helpful. The future is bright." Here’s why this matters to everyone no matter your title, industry, or experience: 🔹 This is the slowest AI will ever move again. 🔹 The gap between those who adapt and those who don't will widen faster than anyone expects. 🔹 Companies and individuals who embrace AI will compound value exponentially. 🔹 Those who don't will see their relevance, and their business value erode. Waiting to “figure it out later” is no longer a strategy. It’s a silent decision to fall behind. The organizations and business leaders that adapt will be the ones who treat AI adoption as an investment in growth rather than a cost will survive and thrive. The future isn't arriving someday. It's here. #AI #OpenAI #BusinessValue #Leadership #Growth https://lnkd.in/eEkWP_qM

Rob Charlebois posted thisChatGPT dug into my soul and left me rethinking everything I thought I knew about myself. These 5 prompts gave me insights even a therapist couldn’t. We usually think AI is for productivity—strategy, analysis, code. But sometimes, it’s the mirror we didn’t know we needed. This week, I flipped the script. I didn’t ask for help with a business problem. I asked ChatGPT to analyze me. Not my work. Not my goals. Just… me. Here are the 5 prompts that cracked me open. Try them yourself—and let me know what surfaces. Prompt 1 “Now that you can remember everything I’ve ever typed here, point out my top five blind spots.” It didn’t sugar-coat anything. It named patterns I’d spent years polishing as strengths—but they were really avoidance strategies. Prompt 2 “Now that you can remember everything I’ve ever typed here, what emotional patterns do I dress up as logic or productivity—but are really just ways I avoid feeling vulnerable? Then: Suggest a small, uncomfortable action I could take today to disrupt that pattern.” Prompt 3 “Now that you can remember everything I’ve ever typed here, if you had to describe the version of me that shows up the most in our chats—who am I trying to be… and what am I avoiding by staying that version? Then: What’s the risk of letting that version go?” Prompt 4 “Now that you can remember everything I’ve ever typed here, what do I keep hinting at, asking around, or circling—without ever directly admitting I want it? Then: Help me frame one bold sentence that says it out loud.” Prompt 5 “Now that you can remember everything I’ve ever typed here, fast forward 3 years. Based on how I think and act now—what’s the regret I’m most likely to have if nothing changes? Then: Design a 7-day self-recalibration challenge to help me break that trajectory.” Ask them. Don’t rush the answers. Let the mirror do its work. Try them—and tell me what hit hardest. DMs open. #prompts #growthmindset #chatgpt #ai #selfdiscovery #introspection Credit: inspired by a post from u/shezboy

Rob Charlebois shared this"…And you better start swimmin’, or you’ll sink like a stone." — Bob Dylan 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 - 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹. I didn’t need a team or a roadmap - just a real problem, and the drive to solve it. Lately, I’ve been relying more on #ChatGPT Deep Research and running into some challenges getting research into a consumable format: • Formatting Markdown content quickly • Summarizing insights for executive audiences • Preparing clean inputs to train custom GPTs There wasn’t an easy solution - so in just two Saturdays, I built and shipped a working web app using #𝗔𝗜-𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 #nocode tools. 𝗣𝗗𝗙𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿.𝗮𝗶 solves my problem, it parses Markdown, restructures inline links to footnotes, and exports clean, professional-looking PDFs. There are open bugs, features I'd like to optimize but "𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗺𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵" and the 19-year old building an app in their basement isn't waiting for perfect to ship. Check it out here https://www.pdfmaker.ai/ Solving the formatting problem was only part of the story - this became an opportunity to tap into my deep-rooted drive to build and learn. Instead of going back to my first AI-assisted coding platform (Lovable), I decided to try v0 from Vercel - and integrate a Large Language Model (#𝗟𝗟𝗠) into the app. The surprise? It was 𝘸𝘢𝘺 easier than I expected - even on a brand-new no-code platform with which I had no experience. I was especially impressed by the native Groq integration, which I used to connect #PDFMaker to #llama-3.3-70b-versatile for real-time, AI-assisted document formatting. 🎁 Free Bonus: Comment “NoCode” and I’ll DM you 2 No-Code Prompt Guides + a Beginner’s Playbook to building your nocode app. This post isn’t about making PDFs. It’s about disruption, speed, and survival. The barriers to building apps and everything else are officially gone. And the evolution has only just begun. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 100𝘅 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲. 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 - 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲. The great unbundling is here. If you’re closest to the problem, you now have the power—and the tools—to solve it. #AI won’t replace you. But 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 will. Special shoutout to Casey Decker who was solving a similar problem at the same time - converting Markdown to Notion formatted text. https://lnkd.in/eTgr5qdB #PDFMaker #NoCode #LLaMA3 #Groq #v0 #Vercel #Lovable #AI #GrowthMindset

Rob Charlebois shared thisI'm an executive - not a developer. Yet, I built 3 apps in one weekend, with zero coding skills and <$20 Here’s exactly how I did it (and why you might care): 1) Thought of a simple app idea/use case. 2) Created a free account on https://lovable.dev/. 3) Wrote a prompt - describing what the app is, does, and who it's for. 4) Hit enter and watched the magic happen. 5) Built my first simple app in minutes (links below). Extra credit (don't be scared keep pushing ahead): 6) Refined my prompts to improve user experience. 7) Integrated an API for enhanced functionality. 8) Connected app to GitHub and Netlify 9) Fine-tuned app settings for better performance. 10) Linked a custom domain. Why did I do this? I spend my days driving growth at the intersection of marketing, technology, and data - and wanted to see firsthand what the #nocode hype was about. My mind was blown, and yours will be too. My weekend experiments with Lovable: 1) Photo background remover (<1 hour) https://lnkd.in/gmSTh6ve (credit remove.bg api) 2) Data Breach Email and Password Checker (<3 hours) https://credsensor.com/ (credit haveibeenpwned.com api) 3) What if Reddit and Quora had a baby? (24 minutes) https://lnkd.in/gUzuKFtn Important Note: Taking a product securely to market involves layers of complexity that I've appreciated from a distance so consider this a fun exploration of what's possible. If you're planning to invest significant time or money in an app on this or any other #nocode platform, always get an expert review. Read the full story in my first ever Medium post, and stay tuned as I explore what's next: https://lnkd.in/gs8yVcM7 P.S. Like many of you, I'm not a fan of the term "vibe coding." It reminds me of "cronuts," "jeggings," or the infamous "netbook" - hopefully, it'll fade away (no offense, Andrej Karpathy!).App & Website Builder | Build Software in Minutes | LovableApp & Website Builder | Build Software in Minutes | Lovable

Rob Charlebois liked thisWe're almost 5 months into our journey as an independent company. And if you ask me my biggest motivation for coming back to Corel, it was to be able to help write the next chapter for our customers and our business with innovations like this. CorelDRAW is a tested tool that our customers depend on for their creativity and their livelihood. It's the software they trust with their inspiration and deadlines, not to mention their reputations. That trust is the motivation for everything we do. The new Text-to-vector AI in CorelDRAW is an impressive thing to see in action. It keeps the user and their vision in the driver’s seat while removing friction from the design process, because we believe nothing should hold back a designers’ ability to experiment, iterate, or start again to create something new. All in record time. Thank you to the CorelDRAW team, our friends at Vector Capital Management, and all our customers for everything you do to keep us moving forward and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. “Rob is a well-rounded ecommerce leader for whom I had the pleasure to work. He was incredibly knowledgeable in every facet of our business. He seemed to be able to absorb every metric at once, and generated phenomenal ideas that grew revenues despite a declining market. The best part about working for Rob was how much I learned. Net Promoter Score isn’t just a number—it’s a signal. It tells you how customers feel before they tell you they’re leaving. High NPS drives referrals. Low NPS quietly fuels churn. If you’re tracking NPS but not acting on it, you’re missing revenue hiding in plain sight. Let’s turn insight into action. #NPS #CustomerExperience #Leadership #BusinessGrowth #CustomerLoyalty #CatalystStrategyConsulting

"But Kyle, the spreadsheet said our conversion 'has to go up.' Shouldn't this be something owned by Product Marketing?" I’ve seen this play out more times than I can count. And I've been responsible for guiding people in the wrong direction more than once. Here's what usually happens: Leadership builds a model, the model spits out a number, and suddenly, “Stage 1 to Stage 2 needs to improve by X%.” So we hand that number to a team (PMM) and tell them to go make it happen. Completely the wrong way to go about it. The first mistake is assigning a number to someone who can’t actually control it. Product marketing gets this all the time. Close rate. Late-stage conversion. Revenue that depends on pricing, sales execution, product gaps, competitive pressure, and a dozen other variables. PMM can influence outcomes. They don’t own the entire system. When we pretend they do, they end up getting blamed for things they didn’t cause and doing random work to prove they’re “helping.” Which leads to the second issue. Everyone runs in different directions. One person rewrites messaging. Another rebuilds the deck. Someone else launches a campaign. It all feels productive, but none of it is coordinated. EOQ shows up, and someone asks what actually worked, and the honest answer is usually “we’re not sure.” Then comes the third problem. Product marketing gets pulled apart. Sales wants enablement. Product wants launches. CS wants customer stories. Everyone has a reasonable ask. So PMM gradually becomes the highest-paid request taker in the company. So how do you fix it? Here's what has worked for me in the past. Especially after The fix isn’t complicated, but it does require you to ACTUALLY DO IT. Pick a North Star. One metric everyone agrees matters most right now. Then be explicit about what you’re trying to change, why you believe it’s the right lever, and what specific projects you’re going to run to move it. Conversion rate might be it, and that's okay! One more thing that matters more than people realize: don’t report the metric every week. If you have a long sales cycle, weekly conversion updates are a waste of time. Report the work weekly. What shipped, what you learned, what you’re changing next. Look at the metric quarterly. Models are useful. They tell you where you want to go. They don’t tell you how to get there. That part is still on us. Ya know, the humans. ;)

Revenue Quality Is Not a Line on a Spreadsheet PE firms look at NRR and ARR shape. They assume the math reflects the market. But revenue quality is earned through five things that almost never get reviewed. Coverage. Reps-to-quota ratio. Channel mix. Pricing discipline. Customer health. If you do not know which one is the weakest link, you are already misvaluing the asset.

"Can you give examples of 1:1 content? And the format you deliver it in?" Here are three examples, along with a step-by-step how-to. EXAMPLE 1. Account Love Letter Example: "Here is how I'd optimize the new enterprise pipeline ABM strategy for multi-regional B2B tech company like Agicap." (https://lnkd.in/ebUxaR6w) Format: LinkedIn post + content hub + 1:1 messages. How to: 1. Every week, check new engagement and intent signals for your target accounts 2. Identify accounts that reach criteria to be promoted - From Cluster ICP to Future Pipeline list (e.g. repeated visits to high intent pages + 1+ named buyer engaged via social or newsletter or webinar) - From Future Pipeline to Active Focus (e.g. provided insight about priority problem via progressive profiling) 3. Run account research and define blind spots - Map the buying committee, their responsibility and KPIs - Research information we need to know about the target account to create relevant content and a personalised offer (e.g. they started an expansion to a new region, challenges: lack of brand awareness in target regions, stronger local competition...) - Plan touchpoints to get insider information (=progressive profiling) 4. Plan the activities you will use In this example, Andrei Zinkevich created the "account love letter" LinkedIn post, and used it to connect to the members of the buying committee. He also created a personalized content hub and used in in follow up (see below). EXAMPLE 2. Personalized Solution Example: "What do cycling and complex B2B SaaS have in common?" Format: 1:1 letter sent in a parcel with a book about the prospect's hoby (Alpine cycling). How to (continued): 5. Start mapping your value proposition with the identified KPIs, goals, and challenges of every buying committee member. 6. Write a 1-page personalized solution for target buying committee members. Include: - Context - How exactly your product helps to achieve their goals or solve the challenges - Relevant social proof EXAMPLE 3. Personalized Content Hub Example: in both examples from above, we created a personalized content hub. Format: deal room tools (e.g. we use Aligned), to quickly spin up 1:1 content hubs. How to (continued): 7. Map content that can help demonstrate how you can solve the challenges identified in research, along with any relevant social proof, product information and answers to questions frequently asked by buyers 8. 1:1 distribution of the content you've created to the buying committee members. --- BONUS EXAMPLE: Answer to Buyer's Question The first line of this post was actually a question we got during our last week's Full-Funnel Live. I decided to create this LinkedIn post as an answer, and use it to "show, not just tell". Next step: I'm going to share it with the person who asked.

I help revenue leaders hit… • 40K followers
Your GTM stack is an expensive mess. AI-native companies figured out why. Quick one. How many tools does the average B2B sales rep use to close a deal? Eight. Eight platforms stitched together with Zapier and prayer. 28% of reps hit quota last year. Down from 44% the year before. 72% of their time goes on non-selling activities. Cold email response rates have fallen 41% since 2019. We spent a decade buying tools to make selling easier. We made it harder. The average B2B org runs 305 applications. 53% of licences sit unused. It's $2 of sales and marketing spend for every $1 of new ARR. That's not a tooling problem. That's architectural debt. And the typical response - swap vendors, retrain the team, hire another SDR - is treating symptoms whilst the disease spreads. AI-native companies figured this out. Their response isn't to buy better suites. It's to build composable systems from scratch. Cursor hits $1B ARR with 300 people - $3.3M per employee. Traditional SaaS median? About $112K. That's not a rounding error. That's a different operating model entirely. I tracked 210 GTM roles across OpenAI, Clay, ElevenLabs, Notion, and Anthropic this month. 70% explicitly require AI building capabilities. Not "familiarity with AI tools." Actual building skills. Verkada automated 80% of their SDR workflows - 120 meetings a month versus the typical 20. Rippling doubled YoY cold email performance. Not by working harder. By building better systems. Most companies are assigning juniors to "experiment with AI tools." Nice UX, lightweight workflow tweaks. But when you're trying to 5x total turnover, getting a junior to explore ChatGPT plugins isn't going to move the needle (harsh but true). The companies making this work are hiring senior folk with commercial acumen and giving them product mandates. Sprint cycles. Release notes. Measured outcomes. I wrote up the full breakdown - the economics, the company implementations, and why the gap between intent and execution is a seniority problem, not a technology problem. Read the full post here →

Hundreds of conversations in the past 18 months. Customer Success leaders. GTM leaders. Founders. Investors. ICs. One question: “How do you actually use AI at work?” 80% gave me the same answer. And 80% were wrong about their own level. I mapped it into a framework (swipe through below). The answers fall into exactly 5 levels. Most people think they’re at Level 3. They’re not. The real gap isn’t between 1 and 2. It’s between 2 and 4. That’s where AI stops doing tasks for you and starts changing how you think about the work. Sharing this because I wish someone had shared it with me a year ago. Drop your level in the comments ↓ #AI #CustomerSuccess #Leadership

(2/30) More pipeline, faster, with complimentary brands. A no B.S. tactical content series: Date before you marry! Partnerships without ink on paper. Your buyer transacts, follows, and engages with brands in your space. If you sell sales-tech (say, HeyReach.io) it could make sense to collaborate with other sales-tech (like Smartlead). You don't need a formal integration either (though you can Webhook them together!). Why not test out the appetite from both audiences to enter into the other's flywheel? Smartlead has a very engaged agency community, as well as a large email list and user-base spanning SMB to enterprise. This could be a pocket of untapped potential for Heyreach. Heyreach, of course, has a great brand and there may already be some overlap, too. How do we do it?: 1) Research and analysis. Who are the other players in the space? We use a custom GPT, data scraping, and HiveSight to see social engagement. We prompt the GPT to look into customer stories and see any similarities. Lots of hands-on validation too. Follower count. Engagement rate. Etc. 2) We define the narrative What is the market talking about? What do people need help with? How does this relate to our client? Would potential partners want to talk about it too? It's focused on the client, but it needs to be a step above to educate on the problem space at large. In the above example, that's modern outbound - it changes RAPIDLY so you always have something to talk about. 3) We invite them in Like yesterday's post: Simple, clear ask. Direct CTA, all the info they need to be successful (we make it easy). 4) We facilitate coordination We take on the heavy lifting (looks good for a first date). Now our client is "the hero" for featuring the other, and doing the work for them. Again, we make it extremely clear who does what, when, and we even pre-write emails, posts, etc. 5) We deploy into demand gen campaigns We go deeper with those that the initial "date" went well with. Run an event, do another content series, get more product focused. We re-integrate all of this content as well. Place it into ads. Turn it into a blog. Promote to accounts via ABM and/or in nurture sequences. (We write and plan all of this for our client) The result? - A potential partnership (the marriage!) - Higher quality content - More distribution - Engaged pipeline *Note: Lots of factors influence audience fit, but you can get a lot from research, and even more if you validate with other tools like Crossbeam. - - - - - - - - - - - This is a series dedicated to helping marketing and partnerships teams execute with excellence. No gimmicks. No fancy hooks. I’m Will, passionate about making markets move together and producing results. I’m the Co-Founder of AudienceLed, a demand gen marketing agency producing pipeline with existing spheres of influence and third-party expertise. Please criticize this content or ask me questions. I’m here to help.

PMM managers hit a point where they feel disconnected from the work. You’re suddenly... - Reviewing GTM strategy docs/decks you have (more) limited context on - Coaching teams on how to position against competitors you haven’t heard customers talk about directly - Helping with messaging for products you have limited hands on exp with This drift is natural, but risky. The further you get from the craft, the harder it is to make the right calls on strategy, resourcing, or hiring. The fix isn’t to jump back in everywhere. It’s to choose the right leverage points: 👉 Lead one messaging workshop yourself. 👉 Run a win/loss deep dive with a direct report and actually sit and participate on the calls 👉 Own a competitive research project end-to-end These are a few high-value touchpoints where you sharpen your own intuition and elevate your team. PMM leaders who never touch the work risk managing in abstraction. PMM leaders who dive in with intent build sharper instincts - and stronger teams. In my experience...almost every manager begins to feel the balance shifting. Don't be ashamed or feel awkward about it. But DO try and address it - this is where we're all headed.
