About SaaSCity
SaaSCity is a reviewed directory of SaaS products, published as an interactive city map: each listing is a building rather than a row in a table. This page documents how listings are reviewed, where the data on this site comes from, what is for sale, and who is responsible for the result.
What SaaSCity publishes
Three things. A directory of SaaS products, where a free listing is permanent and renders as a building on the city map. A weekly launch cycle, where new products go live on a scheduled week and can be voted on. And research: directory rankings, comparisons, and a blog covering distribution and SEO for software companies.
The map exists because a directory is only useful if people browse it. Listings that nobody looks at pass no value to the products in them, whatever their link profile says.
Editorial and review standards
Every submission is reviewed by a person before it is published. Review covers four checks:
- The site resolves and serves a working product, not a parked domain, waitlist page, or redirect.
- The description matches what the product actually does, and the category is the correct one.
- The listing is not a duplicate. One listing per domain.
- Nothing in it is out of scope for a SaaS directory.
After publication, listings are re-checked automatically. Products whose sites stop responding are archived rather than left in place. Voting is rate-limited and audited, and votes identified as manipulation are removed along with the accounts behind them.
Editorial content is written by a named author and reviewed before publication. Corrections are made on request: if a listing, ranking, or article on this site is wrong, report it and it will be fixed or removed.
Data sources and methodology
The 123 directories ranked on this site are ordered by Ahrefs Domain Rating, last refreshed 2026-07-31. The Domain Rating checker queries the same source. Listing counts, launch dates, and vote totals are read from the SaaSCity database at build time, not estimated.
Comparison pages state where a competing directory outperforms SaaSCity. A comparison the publisher cannot lose has no informational value.
Commercial model
Listing is free. The free tier carries a followed link when the SaaSCity badge is displayed on the listed site. Paid products exist for companies that prefer not to display a badge, or that want distribution beyond a listing.

- Guest articles, edited and fact-checked by a person before publication.
- An AI SaaS boilerplate sold to founders.
Payment affects the badge requirement and queue position. It does not affect vote counts, directory rankings, comparison verdicts, or whether a competing product stays listed. Email addresses are not sold or shared. Pages are written individually rather than generated at scale, which is why this site has a few hundred of them.
Ownership and operation
SaaSCity is independently owned and operated, and was founded by ghosty, who is accountable for review decisions, the data on this site, and its editorial output. SaaSCity takes no investment from, and holds no commercial interest in, any product listed on it.
Engineering, review, and editorial are handled in-house. The platform is built and maintained by the same people who operate it, which is why review turnaround is measured in days and corrections are shipped the day they are reported.
