Lines and shapes
Describe a delicate outline, bold contours, rounded forms, or angular shapes. If you want a simpler design, say which elements should remain and which should be left out.
Shading and texture
Explain whether you want open areas, soft shading, strong dark sections, or visible texture. “A clear wolf silhouette with selective fur detail” describes a different direction from “dense fur texture across the whole face.”
Color and composition
Mention the colors you want, or ask for black and grey. Describe how the elements should fit together: one centered subject, a tall arrangement, or a wider composition. Review the result and change one part of your description at a time when comparing ideas.

You can generate 1 tattoo design free, without an account. This offer does not reset daily, and signing up does not give you another free generation. To create more designs, you’ll need an active subscription. See Pricing for plans and credits.
You can generate and preview a design without an account. Sign in or register within seven days to save it and download from My Works. The selected design is saved automatically after sign-in.
Name the main subject, then add the details that define the result — mood, arrangement, and visual style. For example: "A front-facing wolf head with a calm expression, strong outer shape, and light shading." See How to Use the AI Tattoo Generator above for a step-by-step walkthrough.
You can change the description or available settings and generate a new version. This creates another image and uses a generation allowance or credits. TatSketch does not currently offer an editor for changing just one part of an existing image while keeping everything else fixed.
Yes. Subscribing unlocks watermark-free originals, including earlier free designs. Designs generated before your subscription expires keep original download access afterward. Other free downloads are watermarked previews up to 512 pixels on the longest side. Credit packs alone do not unlock original downloads.
4K is the generation setting, not a guarantee of a 4096-pixel image. Output dimensions vary and may be lower than 4096 pixels on the longest side.
New designs are private. There is no public gallery yet. If you previously gave gallery permission for a design, you can withdraw it in My Works. That permission does not include prompts or account details.
Free designs are for personal use only. A subscription unlocks commercial use, including your previously saved free designs. This permission does not grant rights to someone else's protected material or guarantee exclusive ownership. See the Terms of Service for the full conditions.
Treat it as a design concept to discuss with your tattoo artist. Your artist can review the details, adapt the composition to the intended placement and size, and prepare the final artwork. TatSketch creates standalone designs; this generator does not provide a body preview or a tattoo stencil.
A confirmed system failure returns the credits or free entitlement reserved for that task. TatSketch automatically checks the existing task when you return to the page. If it is still processing, wait for its result before generating again. A new request can create a separate image and use additional credits.
