School teaches young people the illusion that you get success in life through hard work.
That's wrong.
Much more important than working hard is working on the right thing.
It's always amazing to me how little of school is dedicated to learning how to pick what to work on.
This is a somewhat obvious result
The only solution for AI systems with high levels of agency is to fix instantiation (soul bound) and give them progressively more authority in the world, i.e. treat them like other humans
A "Worthy Successor list" is a list of capabilities that an AGI could have that would convince you that the AGI (not humanity) should handle the reigns of the future.
