A few years ago a woman at a bar told me I looked just like Chuck Klosterman. I had no idea who that was at the time.
Since then I have come to realize that (a) I do in fact look quite a bit like him and (b) I absolutely love his writing.
Current grammatical pet peeve: the misuse of "lead" as the past tense of "lead". It's probably second in popularity after "it's" being misused as the possessive of "it".
Correct usage: You lead your current team; you may have led a different one before.
