Podcasts are shows you could listen to in any app. The opposite of a podcast is an exclusive. If you can only hear it on Spotify, it’s not a podcast — it’s a Spotify exclusive. If you can only see it on YouTube, it’s not a podcast — it’s a YouTube exclusive. Etc. Etc.

Episode download errors should be fixed in v4.16.2 🛠️ We sent the update to Google Play and F-Droid and it should be available in the next 1-2 days. If you'd like 4.16.2 sooner you can join our beta track: Google Play: play.google.com/apps/testing/c… F-Droid: github.com/podverse/podve…

⚠️ Maintenance Tonight ⚠️ We will be performing server maintenance around 8pm US Pacific time. The mobile app will only work in offline mode during this time. Expected downtime is ~30 minutes. We've chosen Friday night as it is one of our lowest traffic times.

⚠️ UPDATE ⚠️ The app has been back online for about 12 hours, but our RSS parsers need to catch up to detect the new episodes we missed during the ~24 hour outage. Also, our search feature is not working, as we have to wait for our search index operation to finish (eta 1-2hrs).

⚠️ Podverse is down for maintenance ⚠️ Sorry for the interruption. The app may be offline all day :( Our database has grown excessively over the past 3 weeks. We are investigating why, and deploying an upgrade to our database, and changes that will shrink our db going forward.
