My research investigates how language models acquire and store knowledge from imperfect, heterogeneous and dynamic sources, and ultimately how we can build epistemic interfaces which communicate this knowledge in a reliable and verifiable manner. I completed my PhD in 2020 from the Language Technologies Institute at Carnegie Mellon University. My thesis advisers were William Cohen and Russ Salakhutdinov. Before that I did Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. Over the years I have also worked at Google Deepmind (2020-24) in the Gemini team and at Qualcomm Research (2014-15).
