How does automatic zoom work?
WindowShot uses your recorded clicks to add smooth zooms around the action. In the video editor, you can adjust the zoom amount and add or edit zoom points before exporting.
Can I record my camera and audio?
Yes. The Windows recorder has optional webcam, microphone, and system audio capture. In the editor, you can adjust the camera layout and audio levels before exporting your video.
What format does the screen recorder export?
WindowShot currently supports MP4 export, and we’re working to add more widely supported formats in future updates.
Does it work offline?
Recording and editing work locally in the Windows desktop app after license activation. Buying, downloading, and activating the app require an internet connection, as does using WindowShot Web.
Can I use it on Mac?
The downloadable WindowShot screen recorder is currently available for Windows. For Mac and other platforms, we’re developing a Chrome extension that will make WindowShot available on more computers soon.
Is this a subscription?
No. WindowShot Pro is a one-time purchase with lifetime access to the screen recorder and screenshot tool on up to two devices.
