This would be funny if it wasn’t so Orwellian. To state the obvious: CNN and MSNOW *would* have covered it live but they couldn’t—they were banned by the guy complaining that they didn’t cover it.

Trump vs. the press, last 24 hours: —Judge dismisses his 2024 lawsuit against Des Moines Register and its pollster. —Judge rules his ban on three news outlets unconstitutional, orders White House to restore access. Probably should rethink his approach (but probably won’t).

Exact same basis that Kelly ruled on when he restored @Acosta’s press pass in 2018 after Trump banned him and CNN sued.

Judge Kelly's ruling is on Fifth Amendment due process grounds. He noted that the revocation of reporters' White House access was done without "constitutionally adequate due process."
