@chrisrohlf is one of the deepest thinkers in security. It's an honor that he is on the team. I'm an ML researcher, thus a security ignoramus -- but a lot of practices will need to change when you can just rewrite/rebuild your entire codebase / network / surface in ~5 minutes.

If we want to slow down, I think the AI frontier labs should donate some percent of their cycles to hardening the internet, software, and hardware. Making it harder for misaligned AI from pwning everything. While they figure it out.
