Trim sheets are one of those workflows that look complicated until you understand the basic idea: reuse texture space across many assets. Once that clicks, environment production gets much more interesting.

If you're new to trim sheets, start small. You don't need a giant 4K atlas with 40 materials. Make one useful trim. Use it on multiple assets. Then expand.
