True Ventures
Update, May 2024: I’ve been assisting Jeff Veen, Naz Hamid and the team at True Ventures for over a year now across numerous challenging and rewarding projects, predominantly ideation, graphic design and systems work for company and founder events. Most of the resulting work — typically event signage, slide decks and data delivery — is confidential within the True network, so for now I’ll share the 2023 at True: Year in Review infographic that I designed.
Faculty
A fresh redesign for a slimmed-down Faculty, one of the world’s finest and most ethically-minded digital agencies, founded and directed by Chris Shiflett. Designed in short bursts and delivered as accessible, tested HTML & CSS. The redesign was tweaked, populated and launched by the Faculty team in November 2023.
Wildlabs
Relaunched in Spring 2022. WILDLABS is home to the global conservation technology community. I worked with Octophin to devise a bold new design direction for the entire website.
The impact of the new platform has been immediate and significant. By improving design and usability based on our community’s diverse needs, we have seen steady increases in visitors and active engagement. We added 1,200+ new registered members and hit a major milestone, crossing 1,000,000 pageviews. We've had 68,000 people visiting our platform in this year alone, a wonderful sign for the future of our community and of conservation technology’s growing importance.
Omniscot
Launched May 2021. Working with both businesses and individuals, Macs and PCs, Omniscot is a one-stop shop for computer and technology support, with branches in Inverness and Dingwall, Scotland. Redesign and rebuild using Kirby CMS, with illustrations by my wife, Geri Coady. Omniscot website.
Intentional Organization
Launched June 2021. A new practice and forthcoming book from Sara Hicks and Mathias Meyer, The Intentional Organization is for entrepreneurs, executives, leaders, managers, business owners, employees, and humans who are striving to find and cultivate meaning in their work and in their lives. Identity, design and Eleventy build, with illustrations by my wife, Geri Coady. Intentional Organization website.
