Color themes for Binary Ninja, with a live preview before you switch.
Browse, preview, and apply .bntheme
color themes inside Binary Ninja include the themes Binary Ninja ships and ones
from community repositories. Every theme renders a sample linear view and flow
graph in its own colors.
- Lists Binary Ninja's own built-in themes
- Lists themes from configured GitHub repositories
- Shows themes installed locally
- Live preview of a theme
- Installs and applies themes directly from the UI
- Search/filter with a quick-clear button, plus
@dark,@light,@localand@remotekeywords for filtering by brightness or availability
Installed themes are saved under Binary Ninja's
user folder, which is
platform-dependent, in the community-themes/ subfolder — e.g. on Linux:
~/.binaryninja/community-themes/
Binary Ninja scans both themes/ and community-themes/ there, so themes
installed by this plugin are picked up alongside any you cloned yourself.
Writing your own? See Creating Themes
for the .bntheme file format.

Binary Ninja's own themes are listed under BUILT IN. They ship with Binary Ninja rather than being downloaded, so they are always available and never need installing. Their sources are open and live in the API repository:
https://github.com/Vector35/binaryninja-api/tree/dev/themes
Binary Ninja bundles those .bntheme files as Qt resources, which is what
Swatch reads to preview a built-in theme without switching to it first.
These are listed by default. Add or remove repositories under
Settings → Swatch → Theme Repositories, writing each as owner/repo, or
owner/repo/path when the themes live in a subdirectory.
