At Core & Flow, the safety and wellbeing of our community has always come first.

In June 2025, we invested in extensive First Aid and CPR training for our teams across all of our studio locations, ensuring our staff had the skills and confidence to respond in an emergency. This June, we want to go a step further.

We're raising £7,500 to install life-saving defibrillators at each of our studios in Chingford, Epping, Guisborough & Thirsk. These devices won't just be available to our members and team; they will be registered and accessible for use by the wider community in an emergency including site wide at Waterfall Farm, Guisborough & Wintry Park Farm, Epping.

Every minute matters during a cardiac arrest. Early CPR and access to a defibrillator can dramatically increase the chances of survival, and we believe these devices should be available where they may be needed most.

This fundraiser was inspired by our friends at The Studio, Thirsk and Lianne Ayling who recently ran their own successful campaign to install a defibrillator in their space funded by their community. Their efforts reminded us how much can be achieved when local businesses and local people come together for a common cause. We'd encourage every fitness studio, gym and wellness business across the UK to consider doing the same.

We hope these defibrillators are never needed, but if they are, we want them to be there.
