Marc Pollefeys, computer science Professor at ETH Zurich and Director of the Microsoft AI Lab, has joined the Institute for Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence and Technology (INSAIT) in Sofia, Bulgaria, as an affiliated professor.
Dr Felix Linker, postdoctoral researcher in the Information Security Group at ETH Zurich, develops a digital protection emblem designed to safeguard humanitarian infrastructure from cyberattacks. The “Authentic Digital Emblem” extends the concept of traditional protective emblems into cyberspace by enabling protected digital services to be identified and recognised by machines.
