What is Kardow?

Kardow is job board software. You pick a template, connect your own domain, and launch a job board you can charge employers to post on. Payments, employer and candidate accounts, applications, job imports, SEO and analytics are built in. Unlike most platforms in this category, your board is a real application rather than a theme, so its design and behaviour can be changed without limits.

How is it different from Niceboard, JBoard or Job Boardly?

Those platforms give you a settings panel over a shared template, so boards built on them tend to look alike and you can hit a wall where the answer is "the platform does not support that". On Kardow, every board is its own application. You change it by describing what you want to the AI editor, or by pulling the code into your own editor. It is also priced well below the platforms with comparable design quality.

Do I really own my board's code?

Yes. Every board is its own Next.js application rather than a skin on a shared template. On Pro and Scale you can pull that code into your own editor with the Kardow CLI, change whatever you like, and deploy it back. No other job board platform offers this.

Do I need to be technical?

No. Most customers never touch code. You pick a template and describe the changes you want in plain language, and the editor makes them. Hosting, security, updates, SSL and backups are handled for you. If you would rather not set it up at all, our launch service does it for you and hands the board over ready to sell. It is included free on Pro and Scale, and $299 one-time on Starter.

How do I make money from a job board?

Charge employers for one-time job posts, sell bundles, run monthly or annual subscriptions, or put premium listings behind a candidate paywall. Connect Stripe for card payments, or bill larger clients with an invoice or your own payment link. The money goes directly to your account, and Kardow takes 0% of it on every plan.

Will my board have jobs on day one?

Yes. Scheduled imports pull listings from careers sites and job feeds, filtered to your niche, keywords and locations, in over 100 countries and any language. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance for this, so your board is never empty while you are building an audience.

Can I connect my job board to ChatGPT or Claude?

Both. Kardow runs a hosted MCP server, so you can connect your board to Claude, or to ChatGPT as a custom connector, and manage it in plain language: post a job from a URL, approve pending listings, publish a blog post, or ask how the board performed last month. There is also a full REST API, webhooks and Zapier for everything else.

Can I move my existing board to Kardow?

Yes. Jobs, companies and users can be imported by CSV, XML feed or API, and your existing URLs can be redirected so you keep the search rankings you already have. Migration planning is included on Enterprise, and the launch service covers it on other plans.

What happens after the free trial?

The trial runs 14 days. You add a card to start it, and you are not charged until the trial ends, so cancelling before then costs nothing. If you do cancel, nothing is deleted and you can pick a plan whenever you are ready.
