Looking at the details released so far, Meta is going to pay out something less than 1% of their gross profits for 10 years to various state initiatives, and make some app changes that will, I suspect, have little or no effect. Hard to see this as more than a slap on the wrist.

Trump administration threatens to demolish Kennedy Center if renovations are blocked

The arrogance of these people continues to be beyond astounding. Now they’re arguing (in a court of law, mind you) that (1) if they can’t close the Center for 2 years, it will need to be torn down and (2) if they can’t put Trump’s name on it, they won’t get enough donations to pay for renovations and it will need to be torn down.

This truly is the stupidest timeline.
