That experience pushed me to make a change. I moved into technology — starting in desktop and technical support, then hardware support — and later worked alongside cybersecurity teams on real enterprise security initiatives, including supporting a major Apple Pay rollout. Every step taught me something new about how technology and security really work.
Today, I hold a Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, I teach at two universities, and I founded TeachMeCyber to give beginners and career changers the hands-on skills and confidence I had to fight to build myself. If I could go from the oil fields to the classroom, you can make the leap too.
