I was supposed to do something... but I forgot! \o/ whee!

oh. okay...Fangirling-related to do list:

(which unfortunately, does not involve any member of Arashi... hahaha.... okay. at least only one person can read this :P)

<strike>-Fix tags on own lj </strike>
-import posts to dreamwidth... I think. (yeah! okay!)
-create table of contents thingy on both journals for peace of mind
-<strike>edit/proofread someone's fic (and maybe give English pointers, just so I know if my ESL lesson writing skills are actually effective?)</strike>
-drawing meme... right (just to see which one of us can be considered Sho's disciple :P)
- file for 3 day leave because business-themed grammar exercises are coming out of my ears... and to stay away from possible swine flu outbreak, but that'd eat up my leave credits...
-look for more pictures?

Someone sent me a 'draft' of a txt (sms) fanfic and I don't exactly know what she wants me to do with it =| I obviously can't edit it over the phone... well I can, but it'd cost too much, and I prefer typing with the keyboard because there aren't any character limits. I don't really want to play the role of the critic, I've done enough of that in college and personally, I'd be happier to know that the person who wrote that, is first and foremost, happy with what she wrote and is writing for the fun of it; not because she needs to be validated by the number of comments she receives.

It's actually awkward to hear stuff like "I wish I could write like you," because, honestly... what?? I do it for the fun or the lulz... well, I've yet to do it for the lulz, because I haven't written anything cracky yet. Although I seem to have a thing for giving prompts :)

It feels funny. I'm not spectacular or anything, honestly. I just have a wild imagination that can't seem to stray from the supernatural or anything fantasy oriented... (even the porn i write has fantasy involved somehow. hahaha... well, lately anyway) Can't be helped, majority of my favorite authors are young adult, or mid-grade fiction writers who happen to write about fantasy or a parody of it. I like fairy tales, myths, the occult, the supernatural, conspiracy theories and surreal stuff like the kind Murakami writes. I also used to enjoy watching horror movies alone, just to see how scared i could get. After Fatal Frame 2 and The Ring, zombie movies don't really scare me anymore. I'd get surprised every now and then but eventually, I'd just find it funny.

So, this post doesn't really have a point. I just needed to sort things out.

Ookay, back to editing, and then it's my actual story I have to get started on.

Why can't I be this devoted to work (the kind that pays, I mean?) :P

Oh. Friday today! Yay!

comments

Okay...

Hello new, shiny (and very empty) journal and ferinough

It's 3 AM and I forgot what I was supposed to do. :)

Oh, right.
