- Not sure if the BIP110 chain will ever reach difficulty retarget
- PSA: There might be a chain split tomorrow, caused by BIP-110 nodes. If you use the "connect only to a single server" setting of Electrum, your client will not be able to detect the fork. Do not use this option with a server you do not trust.
- This never gets oldIt's been 6 months since we decentralized #lightning swaps. Today, 9 liquidity providers are competing for Electrum swaps.
- Lightning swaps in Electrum initially used a Boltz-based backend. This was replaced by an Electrum backend in version 4.5.0 (January 2024). Since version 4.6.0 (July 2025), the swap market is decentralized, and zeroconf swaps have been removed from Electrum.Update: Boltz will stay disabled until further notice. Our API remains available to process refunds cooperatively. In any case, unilateral refunds will work, as they do not depend on our infrastructure. Our support team stays reachable.
