After 113 applications, 34 rejections, 8 interviews and no responses from 71 of those applications, I can proudly say that I have finally accepted an offer as a full-time iOS developer @travelbankhq! 🎉 No bachelors degree, no bootcamp, 100% from online resources. I DID IT!!!

I don’t think I want to be primarily an iOS dev anymore after getting into unity game dev. I’m having a lot more fun and it’s definitely more engaging than simply building UI.

Wassup my fellow SWEs! Im probably just tweeting into the void but does anyone have any experience with moving to Japan through finding a dev job? My wife and I are looking to move abroad for a while and I’m just curious about how doable this is

Biggest pet peeve is when api sends me a string value of “true” when it’s supposed to be a bool. I just wasted an hour trying to figure out why an object wasn’t decoding correctly while thinking it was an entirely different issue. 🤦🏻‍♂️
