The neat thing is how true this is when building “AGI” that *resembles* human intelligence (coding, back-office) to mimic the median human workforce, versus “ASI” that *augments* human intelligence (science, drug discovery) to tackle complexities that humans are not evolved to

To be fair, first they came for the copywriters with ChatGPT, then they came for the artists with image/video generation, then they came for the junior SWEs with coding agents. Coming for the Fields Medalists is pretty far down the poem, but luckily, I am not a Fields Medalist
