- wanted to try something similar. the edid handshake on my old lenovo slabtop is screwed. the screen would connect but only ever 800×600. so i asked the hermes agent running on it to find the fix. it patched the kernel to inject the right edid. worked first try. insane times.just Claude writing a MacOS driver for my obscure HP printer built only for Windows support
