I love all the attention DSPy is getting right now; soon, DSPy will be the only framework worth using. I only use DSPy btw.

LLMs are absolutely our poisoning one element of development that was pretty important historically: A sense of ownership over the code.

you gotta remember that one incentive that keeps open source contributors going is that their contributions are valued and they stay around. People feel a sense of ownership over the code. If you ported it all wholesale, it would destroy that completely.

Anthropic just deleted 80% of Claude Code’s system prompt for Claude 5 models… and performance didn’t drop. That’s the headline from their new post on context engineering for Opus 5 and Fable 5. The most surprising shifts: - Stop giving rigid rules. Old prompt: “Never write
