Inspired by @arcbtc’s Bitcoin hardware wallet project, I built a dice-roll generator that does one thing well: generate a Bitcoin BIP39 seed.
No wallet logic. No networking. No storage. No RNG.

- Did @COLDCARDwallet 's RNG bug weaken dice-only seeds created during the affected period? I tested pre-fix MK4 and Q firmware against @SeedSigner and Ian Coleman, then checked the historical code. The dedicated 99-roll dice-only path was unaffected.
- A former colleague of mine unfortunately fell victim to the ongoing @COLDCARDwallet attack and was robbed. The stolen funds are currently sitting idle among others at the following address: mempool.space/address/bc1pdl… @bradytc_ Could you add this to coldcardwatch.com ?
- For the #aosconvergence 2026 hackathon, Friedger and I built a proof of concept showing how passkeys can be used with Nostr on iOS. The idea: make Nostr onboarding feel like a normal app login — Face ID, Touch ID, security keys — instead of asking users to manage private keys.
