What makes a creator partnership feel natural? Often, it’s when creators can speak from their own experience and genuinely connect with the product. Even a strong script can miss the mark if the message doesn’t feel true to them, says #IAB's Susan Mykalcio. Join the conversation at #IABCreatorFronts on September 15: https://okt.to/xzK5dL

Do you prefer creator content that feels polished or more spontaneous? For IAB's Matthew Renne, what matters most is that it feels authentic. As audiences become more selective about what earns their attention, authenticity continues to shape how creators and brands build meaningful connections. What resonates more with you? When everything is coming at you at once, focus becomes a leadership skill. That was one of the strongest takeaways from my conversation with Kerel Cooper of MarketCast for episode 7 of IAB Center Seat. Kerel was clear about his marketing filter: awareness, enablement, and pipeline. If the work is not driving one of those, it probably does not belong on the priority list. We also talked about AI, but less as a shiny object and more as a way to operate faster and more effectively, especially when adding more headcount is not the answer. And I liked his point about customer trust. The service can be strong, the data can be good, the insights can be smart, but if the customer does not trust the partner delivering them, none of it matters. His leadership analogy may have been my favorite: like a duck on a pond, calm on the surface, paddling like hell underneath. The job is to absorb the noise, stay focused, and help the team do the same. At the end of each conversation, I ask who they’d like to hear from in the center seat. Kerel’s pick: Dr. Marcus Collins. Episode 7 is live. #IABCenterSeat #CMO #AI #CustomerTrust #Leadership

Gaming creators understand the nuances of their communities, from the humor to the way people connect and communicate. IAB's Matthew Azark says that bringing them in early as creative partners, rather than treating them solely as a media channel, can help brands show up in gaming culture more authentically.
