Microsoft
One of the first engineers building Visual Studio Code — when it was still called Monaco. Today VS Code is the world's most popular code editor and Microsoft's most successful open source project. Fifteen years in, some highlights:
- Worked on views, editors and implemented a ton of things
- Enabled cross OS support via Electron integration
- Worked on remote, web and sandbox support
- Finally added floating windows support
- Gave a GitHub Universe talk and had fun talking about our story
- Championed Copilot growth
- Committed code across 3,473 days

IBM
Joined IBM to work on Rational Team Concert, Eclipse-based tools for team collaboration and software development — in the work items team, the issue tracker component.

Side projects
Always building on the side — Firlefanz.li, bedtime stories for kids; Tract, a web based feed reader; and RSSOwl, an open source RSS and Atom news reader I started in 2001 that became SourceForge's Project of the Month.
RSSOwl is where it all began — the spark for everything above.
