Every map.
Every layer.
One platform.

ELEMNT is the cloud-native geospatial data platform. Import your data in open formats, generate PMTiles, and serve it through OGC API Features and Style JSON. No tile server to run, no lock-in to leave.

From files to a served map, in three steps.

The whole platform is one workflow. Everything below is live today and free during early access.

01 · IMPORT

Bring your data in the formats you already have.

Upload GeoPackage, GeoJSON, Shapefile, FlatGeobuf, GeoParquet, NDJSON, a zip, or a URL. Organize datasets into projects and collections with schema and hierarchy, per team, per org. No conversion step, no rewrites: the formats the rest of your stack already reads are the formats ELEMNT stores.

02 · GENERATE

Turn any collection into PMTiles.

One click generates a single-file tile archive for every zoom level. A basemap becomes one file, not millions of tiles, so there is no tile-server fleet to build, patch, or babysit. Your tiles live on object storage and travel anywhere PMTiles is read, which is everywhere MapLibre goes.

03 · SERVE

Serve through the open standards your tools speak.

Every collection is available over OGC API Features (Part 1) with a MapLibre-ready Style JSON per dataset. API keys and service accounts are built in, and the same six open formats come back out on export: your data never gets trapped on the way through.

A release ships every two weeks, one headline item plus a smaller one. If a capability is not in the left column, it has not shipped, and we would rather tell you that than pretend. Read the release record.

Show, don’t pitch.

Two free tools run in public on the same platform you would be using. They are the demo.

Earth Traffic

Replays 3.4 billion GPS points of a national road network, hour by hour, in a browser tab. Hexbin congestion served as vector tiles straight from object storage.

GeoDebug

Opens PMTiles, GeoParquet, COG, and tile endpoints so you can see what is really in your data. Free, no signup, from the team behind ELEMNT.

ELEMNT Place + Carto

Explore open POI data from Overture, and design the basemap under it. Both serve from the same cloud-native core.
