What does a bklink audit check?
bklink loads every page you paid a link on at the moment you run the audit and records whether your link is there, whether it is followed, nofollow or sponsored, and whether the page still resolves. Each publication is resolved to the server, hosting network and country it serves from, shown with its Ahrefs Domain Rating, and the profile is valued as a range after discounts for co-hosting and syndicated copies.
How is this different from Ahrefs, Semrush or other backlink tools?
Index-based tools report links from their own crawler's last visit, so a link removed last week can still show as live. bklink fetches each page when you run the audit, groups the placements you bought by the server they share and names the cluster, and publishes the method behind its valuations. It complements those tools rather than replacing them.
Can I use the report to get a replacement or refund from my vendor?
Yes. The report records the state of every link on the date it was checked, and a status re-check dates every change since. Send the vendor the PDF or a share link: it shows which placements are missing, nofollow or on dead pages, which is the evidence a replacement request needs.
How does pricing work?
There is no subscription. You top up a prepaid wallet from $10 and each action deducts its price when it runs: $1.00 per audit for up to 410 domains (never more than $1.92), $1.00 per website scan of up to 1,000 backlinks, $1.00 per status re-check, $0.01 per URL index check and $0.05 per indexing request ($0.04 from 100 URLs). Every price is shown before you run anything, and unspent balance is refundable.
How do I get my backlinks into bklink?
Upload the list your vendor sent — CSV, spreadsheet, PDF or Word (.docx) — or paste the URLs. To audit links already pointing at your site, run a website scan of your domain instead.
How do I find out if a link is removed later?
Run a status re-check on the report. Every link is fetched again, anything removed, nofollowed or dead since the last run is listed with the date it changed, and bklink emails you when a re-check finds lost links. Checks run when you ask for them; there is no background monitoring yet.
Do I need to install anything on my website?
No. bklink reads the public pages your links are on and public DNS records. There is no script, plugin or Search Console access to set up.
Is bklink suitable for SEO agencies?
Yes. Keep one project per client site, audit each vendor delivery as it arrives, and hand the client a PDF or share link of the same report you audited. Links you want gone export as a Google-ready disavow file. You pay per audit, so a quiet month costs nothing.
Are my backlink lists private?
Your lists, target domains, what you paid and your reports are visible only to you and whoever you send a share link to. Publication-level results, such as a publication's server and how its links behaved when audited, feed the public mxverify directory without naming you or your site. URLs you submit for indexing are listed on mxverify, because that is how they are put in front of Google.
Can bklink get my pages indexed by Google?
bklink can check whether Google has a page and request indexing for the ones it does not, then checks Google once a day for five days. Google decides what it indexes, so nothing is guaranteed: every URL not indexed at its own address after five days is refunded to your wallet automatically.
Are the valuations appraisals?
No. They are estimates of what comparable links have sold for, not what a link will earn you or what anyone will pay for it. Every report states a range rather than a single figure, and the full method is published on the methodology page.
