Didn't think we needed a sequel to this game but I was clearly very wrong.

best ever fantasy RPG

I’ve put countless hours into Skyrim across multiple platforms but nothing will beat collecting my preordered copy on the Xbox 360. The last Bethesda game I truly got immersed in. I can see why they’ve re-released it 50 times.

This - the turning point for me in understanding how powerful games as a medium are, and realising as a 16 year old what I wanted to spend my life doing. A culmination of core pillars that deeply appeal to me as a player and media consumer- grounded realism, a decaying world, horror sequences, moral choices and protaganists that are as dislikable as they are likable. And as a big zombie fan, I loved the fresh-fungal take on the genre.

Im walking through the woods, pigs rustling at the forest floor, suns peaking over the horizon and then the music kicks in. A grown man reduced to tears, I wish I could live in Minecraft.
