What founders say
★★★★★From a buyer
“I love LaunchRepo. Thanks for building it! I’ll use it for Road to Offer and every project I launch from here on. I can recommend it to every founder who wants their product to actually get found.”
“LaunchRepo solves one of the most painfully boring problems in indie hacking: distribution. You still need to build an audience, create content and talk to people. But LaunchRepo can cover 10–20% of your distribution game by taking care of the repetitive directory and discovery work founders usually postpone. Less waiting for eyes on your product. More ‘let’s get this product in front of people.’”
Two of our own products, pushed with nothing but LaunchRepo and free directories. This is what their Domain Rating did in under two weeks — and it’s still climbing.
Our own products, measured by FrogDR. Your results depend on your product and on which listings go live; no Domain Rating is guaranteed.

Watch what your agent does with it.
Founder Aleks walks through the toolkit: the product brief, a platform guide, the moments the agent pauses for you, and how outcomes end up in the tracker.
Gather the facts, approved claims and images with your agent. Set its registration and publication permissions.
02
Plan a run of 10 submissions.
Start with a target of 10 relevant free submissions and one browser worker. If fewer suitable routes exist, the planner keeps the smaller truthful target instead of adding unknown or paid routes.
03
Prepare, submit and follow up.
Copy the run prompt and use /goal if your agent supports it. Your agent records confirmations and continues toward the saved target. You handle logins and human challenges; later sessions resume the remaining work.
Ready to hand this to your agent?
One payment. Every product you launch. No subscription.
Prepare a personal maker profile, product URL, logo and gallery. The observed form allowed a 60-character tagline and 500-character description. Recheck limits before writing final copy.
Workflow
Search My Products and the public site first. Add the product URL, select an accurate category, upload real product images and identify the maker. Represent paid products with trial access honestly, then choose and confirm the launch date.
Watch for
Native selects may require direct interaction. Verify the selected value after scrolling. Do not solicit upvotes or invent testimonials, and do not count a saved draft as a scheduled launch.
What counts as confirmation
Record scheduled only after the account confirms the date and time zone. On launch day, inspect the public product page before recording live.
Where to start
Where could people discover your product?
Start with routes whose zero-cost path has current evidence. Conditional routes show the badge, backlink, capacity or product-fit requirement before your agent opens the form.

AlternativeToSoftware catalogs

Small-business buyers shortlisting software by reviews
Reviews & comparisons
Conditional
Only through the G2 add-product form: G2's automated B2B-only check at Verify URL applies even though Capterra's own Profile Guidelines also accept B2C; packaged, publicly available software with a public trial, demo or information-request offer (no waitlist-only products) that fits an existing Capterra category
Capterra is offered as a cross-publish option only when signed in to G2 with a business email on the product's own domain (needs a working mailbox there); products already on G2 had no cross-publish option in free my.G2 on 2026-09-17
Tick Capterra only if that step shows no budget, bid, card or insertion order; the checkbox was labelled 'Pay-per-click model' on 2026-09-13/17, so stop and leave it unticked if any billing term appears; never upgrade to a Sponsored Profile or start a PPC or PPL campaign
Publication unproven: free profiles can be limited or withdrawn at the operator's discretion; sampled free profiles showed no product-website link
Investors, sales teams and researchers profiling companies
Company profile
Conditional
Organization profile only (company, school, investment firm, investor, person, event); there is no product profile type, so do not create a company for a product brand. Add the product to the real company's description instead
The company must fit Crunchbase's targets (startups, investors, technology or other high-profile companies). Moderation removes web directories and submission sites, purely promotional profiles, local small businesses, URL shorteners and profiles written entirely in a language other than English
Free account plus Google or LinkedIn social authentication required before creating or editing; a social account can link to only one Crunchbase user
Search by name and domain first. If the company already exists, edit it (Actions > Edit) instead of creating a duplicate. Locked Overview fields need Manage My Company verification with a company-domain email the owner controls
Factual third-person copy only, with no marketing superlatives; funding, headcount and founders from approved facts; edits normally appear instantly (contact support if they have not appeared after 24 hours), but moderation queues can remove off-guideline profiles later; decline the Pro trial, Business and API offers
Developer tools only (open source, APIs and SDKs, frameworks and libraries, IDEs, testing, monitoring); DevHunt account (GitHub or Google sign-in) with one tool entry per product, check the account for an existing entry first
Free launch is a queue: the free slot is the nearest week with fewer than 15 tools; on 2026-09-24 all 104 selectable weeks (to 2028-09-26) were full, so the free date is after September 2028 (a 2026-09-14 run landed in June 2029)
While no selectable week is free, the only submit button reads 'Launch on <date> for $49'; it saves the tool into the free slot and opens a payment page: close it and never pay or use 'Skip the queue'; stop if the saved tool shows no future free launch date
Queued tools get a public page with a dofollow 'Live preview' link immediately, but voting and homepage exposure happen only in the launch week
B2B software or services only: G2 rejects B2C products (automated check at Verify URL), duplicates, extensions or integrations, unreachable websites and sanctioned regions
Sign-in required (LinkedIn, Google, Facebook or business email); cross-publishing is validated against a login email on the product domain
Developers and IT buyers downloading and comparing software
Permanent catalog
Conditional
Business software or services with a real company behind it (company name, title, website, phone, founding year, location required)
The single Submit consent bundles the Terms/Privacy with 'I agree to receive communications from SourceForge.net': explicit owner approval required, stop if refused
Request only: SourceForge staff create the listing page; one request also covers Slashdot (same Slashdot Media form), never submit both
Makers and early adopters voting on daily launches
Dated launch · upvotes
Conditional
Real, original, working and publicly usable product (no generic AI wrapper, low-effort converter/generator, clone, waitlist/invite-only/sales-call product, NSFW or placeholder); free submissions are moderated and can be declined for saturated categories; landing page on its own domain (no vercel.app / netlify.app); ready at least a week before the launch date
Account required to save the submission (web sign-up methods not checked; the official agent API uses an emailed 6-digit code); free accounts may hold only one scheduled launch at a time (unscheduled drafts do not count), never create extra accounts or delete other products to free the slot
After submitting, choose Join the line in the dashboard; date assigned automatically 30-150 days out (2027-02-21 on 2026-09-24), no free option when the line is closed or full; decline Fast-track $14.99, Skip the line $29.99 and Pro
Launch-day upvote score 10 to stay published and 20 for a do-follow link (10-19 nofollow); below 10 the product returns to the dashboard and can never rejoin the free line; never buy or batch votes
This table is a sample. The full list, with official link, requirements and a step-by-step playbook for every platform, ships inside the LaunchRepo repository after purchase, not on this site.
Fee status checked September 24, 2026 from the public evidence recorded in the catalog. Free still does not mean suitable or guaranteed: check product fit, account state and current rules before submitting.
Everything runs on your machine. Nothing on our servers.
LaunchRepo is a repository, not a hosted service. Your agent reads the guides and your product brief from a private folder, works in a Chrome window you are signed in to, and writes each outcome back to the tracker.
Other agents need local-file access and Chrome DevTools MCP; verify the connection before starting. Setup notes per agent →

Who is behind this
Hi, I’m Aleks. I built this for my own launches first.
I’m 26 and have been building software since I was 17. My first SaaS found users through sheer beginner’s luck; every product after that taught me how hard it really is to get seen. A lot of founders helped me along the way, and LaunchRepo is my way of passing that on: pay once, use it for every product you ever launch.
SeoMap was our own pilot. You can inspect its public Findly listing alongside the sample guide. View SeoMap on Findly ↗
Includes the playbooks, product brief, local dashboard, tracker and setup guides. Use your copy for unlimited products you or your company own. Repository access is tied to one GitHub account.
You’ll need
Git, Python 3.10+ on Windows, macOS or Linux, Chrome, Node.js LTS with npm, and an agent with local-file and Chrome DevTools MCP access. Toolkit documentation and playbooks are in English.
Claude Code, Codex or Cursor alone is not enough: your agent needs a working browser connection. Check that it can read a local file and inspect a harmless page in Chrome before buying.
Your AI provider’s plan limits or metered usage apply. Platform fees are separate; the default workflow pauses before paid actions. Start with a small batch and check your provider’s usage.

Access to a private GitHub repository. You clone it and use everything locally with your own agent: the directory catalog, a playbook for every directory, your product brief, the submission tracker and a local dashboard. No SaaS, no extra login, nothing uploaded to us.
Why pay when I could just tell Claude to do it?+
Because the value isn’t the list of directories — anyone can find a list. It’s the hand-written, manually tested playbook behind every directory: which route to take, what each field expects, where the traps are and what to do when something goes wrong. Without it, your agent guesses and burns tokens on trial and error. With it, it follows a tested path, submits properly and records every result, so nothing gets lost or submitted twice.
Are submissions automated or do I have to do them by hand?+
Automated, end to end. Your agent creates the account, confirms the verification email, fills in the forms and submits the listing on its own. It stops only for the occasional CAPTCHA (see below) and before anything that would cost money.
What about CAPTCHAs?+
About 5 % of the current directories show a CAPTCHA that needs you once as the human in the loop. Most directories have no CAPTCHA at all, or one the agent handles with its playbook. Don’t want to deal with any? Tell your agent at the start and it filters those directories out automatically.
How is it automated — and does it break when a site changes its UI?+
Your agent drives a real Chrome browser and reads every page the way a person does, instead of clicking hard-coded selectors that snap with the next redesign. That’s our secret sauce: each playbook describes what the directory needs and what a finished submission looks like, not which pixel to click. A moved button or a reworked form doesn’t stop it. When a directory changes more than that, we re-test the route and publish the updated playbook for every buyer.
How long does each directory take?+
Plan on roughly 3–5 minutes per directory. It depends on whether you already have an account there, whether you sign in with Google or with email and password (which adds a confirmation email), and how many forms the directory has. With enough hardware, you can run several agent sessions in parallel.
Won’t Google flag me for getting so many backlinks at once?+
No — and that’s built into how free directories work. Free listings wait in a review queue, so they go live anywhere from one day to about twelve weeks after you submit. To Google, that looks exactly like what it is: solid new backlinks arriving one by one over a long period, not a suspicious spike.
Will it bring traffic or customers?+
It creates more relevant places where your product may be discovered and gives you a clean record of what was submitted, approved and published. We have not measured attributable traffic, rankings or customer growth, and no platform, backlink or outcome is guaranteed.
Do I need to understand SEO?+
No specialist SEO knowledge is required to run the workflow. Your agent checks fit and current rules, while the tracker separates attempts from public listings. Whether a published page links, ranks or sends visitors must be measured after it goes live.
How many of my products can I submit?+
As many as you like — there’s no limit. Buy once and use it for all of your own products, as often as you want, for good. Client work needs a separate licence.
Do I get lifetime access to updates?+
Yes. One payment, no subscription: every new directory, every new playbook and every update we publish lands in your repository at no extra cost. Your purchase keeps getting more valuable as the catalog grows.
Can I review the copy before anything is submitted?+
Yes: ask your agent to prepare drafts and withhold submission permission until you review them. You can also grant permission for final submissions in advance. These permissions are instructions for your agent, rather than a software-enforced approval gate.
Can my team use it?+
Yes, for products you or your company own, with repository access bound to one GitHub account. Client work requires a separate licence. Redistribution is not included.
Give your next users another way to find what you’ve built.
Choose relevant platforms. Give your agent the instructions. Keep the progress for the next launch.
