PSL Scale tiers
We map a 0–8 AI assessment to seven PSL community tiers. These ranges are not population statistics or a scientifically validated beauty standard.

Common questions about PSL Scale
What is PSL Scale?
PSL is a community aesthetic rating scale. This website uses 0–8 scores and published tier ranges. The score is a photo-based AI estimate, not a scientifically validated beauty measurement or a population percentile. Read about the background of PSL.
How is the report generated?
Your browser detects the face and prepares geometric context. AI then considers the submitted photograph to produce an overall assessment, observations and explanations across eight dimensions, and practical next steps.
Which dimensions are included?
Symmetry, harmony, proportions, facial structure, skin presentation, feature familiarity, contour emphasis and distinctive features. These are AI judgments. Skin presentation is not a health assessment, and familiarity is not a population statistic.
Why do different photos receive different scores?
Lighting, expression, distance and angle affect photographic appearance. Use similar conditions when comparing photos. The report identifies visible limitations; a change in score does not imply an equivalent change in your face.
How many credits does it cost?
The on-device face check is free. A complete AI report costs 10 credits, with 10 welcome credits for new accounts. The start button displays the price. Failed generation does not spend credits.
Who processes my photo?
The initial face check runs in your browser. When you start AI analysis, your photo is sent to our analysis endpoint and configured AI service for processing. The share card’s QR code does not publish your photo or report.
Is my photo saved in this browser?
To continue after sign-in or checkout, your photo is temporarily saved in this browser with a 30-minute expiry. Successful report generation or choosing another photo clears that pending record. The result remains on the current page until you leave or refresh.
Can I share without my photo?
Yes. Share cards completely remove your photo by default, keeping the score, tier and feature summary. You can include the photo or switch between portrait and square formats. The QR code opens the PSL homepage.
What kind of advice will I receive?
Suggestions focus on reversible presentation choices such as lighting, hairstyle and grooming. The report does not promise score increases or provide a basis for medical or cosmetic surgery decisions.
How accurate is the AI score?
It is an aesthetic estimate affected by photographic conditions. We do not claim a validated accuracy rate or population ranking. Real-life attraction also includes much more than a single photograph can express.
