What you can do

Rootlize is a local workspace for images already on your PC — search, then keep going.

Find
Search filenames and text in the folder you already have, use Meaning Search for what an image shows, or Ask AI in natural language.

Organize
Tag, favorite, rename, and move the images you just found. Search results are a starting point, not a dead end.

Automate
Describe the work. AI builds an editable Select / Search / Action Workflow. You can change the blocks, then Run — Rootlize still asks you to confirm before anything moves.
On your PC
Use the folder you already have.
Point Rootlize at an existing Windows folder. Your images stay there. You do not move them into a Rootlize cloud library.
AI is opt-in
Ask AI asks for consent first. Until you agree, Rootlize does not start sending images for AI analysis. After you agree, the first analysis may send images to an external AI. Saved facts are reused, so Meaning Search does not resend images every time. Prototype AI usage is limited; local search and organize still work after the limit.
Deeper capabilities
Search by meaning. Ask in your own words. Repeat the work.
Once you have a set of images, you can keep working — tag, favorite, and save the flow.
Meaning Search
Find images by what they show, not just by filename. After the first consented analysis, later Meaning Search uses saved facts instead of resending images every time.
Ask AI
Describe the work in your own words. After you agree, Ask AI can search and propose actions. You still review a preview before anything runs.
Automation
Describe it. AI builds the workflow from Folder, Search, Move, and Tag blocks you can edit. Run it again when the same work comes back. Confirmation stays in place before execute. Rootlize does not organize your files on its own.
