Nothing will ever top the original puppet but I truly never thought I would see the day that the Crypt Keeper would return with his original look and John Kassir's voice. It seemed like rights issues were making all of this impossible. FearFest will be a special one this year!

Here's a better look at the newly redesigned Crypt Keeper puppet from makeup FX master Greg Nicotero. Voiced by John Kassir, the Crypt Keeper is back as the host of AMC's FearFest all October long. Nicotero directed all the Crypt Keeper spots. The fun begins October 1 on AMC.

The $60 million domestic opening of Zach Cregger's RESIDENT EVIL is more than double the previous highest opening weekend for the film franchise, and it's also $20 million higher than the entire total worldwide haul of the previous Resident Evil film reboot just five years ago.

One of the most fun things about Resident Evil is that there's so much built in stuff from the games that Cregger has a blast playing with. Every time Bryan wastes a bullet, you cringe. You want him to grab the health items. At one point, you're begging him to SAVE HIS PROGRESS.

Zach Cregger's RESIDENT EVIL is absolutely an authentic Resident Evil experience. Austin Abrams is perfectly cast as the lovable, incredulous everyman guiding us through a series of increasingly insane set pieces. Always moving forward, always one-upping itself. Hell of a ride.
