HeroDevs collects personal information through three primary channels. We collect only what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Statement and apply data minimization principles to limit collection to relevant information.

2.1 Information You Provide at Marketing Events

When you meet us at conferences, trade shows, webinars, or other marketing events and voluntarily share your information, we may collect:

• Full name
• Business email address
• Job title and company or organization name
• Business phone number
• Business mailing address
• Professional interests and topics discussed during our interaction
• Any other information you voluntarily provide

2.2 Information Collected Through Our Website

When you visit herodevs.com, we may collect your information in two ways:

Information you submit directly: When you fill out a form, request a demo, subscribe to our newsletter, or download resources, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, company name, and job title.

Information collected automatically: We and our third-party service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar tracking technologies to automatically collect information about your browsing activity and device, including IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and content interests inferred from your browsing behavior.

2.3 Information Collected in the Course of Providing Our Services

As a HeroDevs customer using our services, we may collect your information in two ways:

Support Tickets: As a customer, we are here to troubleshoot or support our customer's usage of our services, in which case we may need to collect certain contact information in order to provide the support you need. This information may include your name, job title, email address, and company name.

Business Credentialing: For our SaaS platform, we may collect credentialing information to allow authorized access to utilize our features and technologies. This information may include your name, email address, and IP address.

2.4 Information We Do Not Collect

HeroDevs does not knowingly collect sensitive personal information such as Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, precise geolocation data, health or medical information, racial or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, genetic or biometric data, or immigration or citizenship status through our marketing events or website.

3. How We Use Personal Information

We use the personal information we collect for the following business purposes:

• To respond to your inquiries, demo requests, and other communications.
• To send marketing communications, including product announcements, event invitations, newsletters, and promotional materials (subject to your opt-out preferences and applicable law).

6. Data Retention

HeroDevs retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When determining the appropriate retention period, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purposes for which we process it, applicable legal requirements, and whether the purposes can be achieved through other means.

When personal information is no longer necessary for its intended purpose, we will securely delete or anonymize it in accordance with our data retention policies. You may request deletion of your personal information at any time as described in Section 8.

While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to maintaining safeguards that are appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Regardless of your state of residence, HeroDevs provides all individuals with the following choices regarding their personal information:

8.1 Marketing Communications

You may opt out of receiving marketing emails or correspondence from HeroDevs at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in every marketing email, or by contacting us at the address in Section 14. We will process your opt-out request promptly and in any event within ten (10) business days. Please note that even after you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you non-promotional communications related to any existing business relationship.

8.2 Telephone and Text Communications

In compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), HeroDevs will not contact you by telephone or text message for marketing purposes without your prior express consent. You may revoke consent at any time by contacting us using the information in Section 14 or by replying STOP to any text message.

8.3 Access, Correction, and Deletion

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information HeroDevs holds about you. To exercise these rights, contact us using the information in Section 14. We will verify your identity and respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe, and in accordance with any applicable legal deadlines.

8.4 Cookie Preferences

You may manage your cookie preferences at any time through your browser settings, through any cookie consent tool provided on herodevs.com, or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser. See Section 5 for additional detail.

9. Children's Privacy

HeroDevs' website and marketing activities are directed to business professionals and are not intended for children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children between 13 and 16 without verifiable parental or guardian consent, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and applicable state laws.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 16 without appropriate consent, we will take prompt steps to delete that information. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately using the information in Section 14.

10. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website may contain links to websites or services operated by third parties. This Privacy Statement does not apply to those third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit. HeroDevs is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.

11. State-Specific Privacy Rights

If you are a resident of a state with an applicable consumer privacy law, you may be entitled to the following rights, to the extent provided by your state's law:

• Right to Delete: Request that HeroDevs delete the personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law.

Verification may require you to provide information that matches the personal information we have on file. If you designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf, we may require proof of the agent's authorization and still verify your identity directly.

We will respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law (generally within forty-five (45) days, with the possibility of a one-time extension of up to an additional forty-five (45) days where necessary). If we deny your request in whole or in part, we will explain the reasons and inform you of your right to appeal.

11.3 Right to Appeal

If we decline to act on your privacy rights request, you have the right to appeal that decision. To appeal, contact us using the information in Section 14 and include "Privacy Rights Appeal" in the subject line. We will respond to your appeal within the timeframe required by applicable law.
