You can choose the category but not the deck or the cabin number. This means that you can decide whether you would like to book an Inside, Outside or Balcony Cabin, for example.
We will assign the concrete cabin number shortly before the cruise departure.

Travels are not included in the cruise booking. Please arrange your travels privately.

You can add 1 or 2 children to all cabin types. Please note that having a baby cot or accommodating 1-2 teenagers will significantly reduce the available space in a cabin. For this reason, we recommend that families consider a balcony cabin or a suite.

In addition to the cabin price, which includes two passengers, there may be an extra charge for additional children, depending on their age:

Toddlers 0*-6 years: free
Children 7-15 years: 199€
Teenager 16-17 years: 399€

*Babies must be at least six months old on the day of departure.

Babies are only allowed on the cruise if they are 6 months of age at the day of departure. 

For safety reasons, minors cannot travel alone on board the Mein Schiff fleet. Furthermore, only children accompanied by at least one legal guardian or parent may travel. It is not possible to appoint another person as a representative by means of a power of attorney – the parents/legal guardians must be on board themselves.

You can pay the full price directly with the booking.
Alternatively, you can pay in installments. You will need to pay 35% of the cruise price immediately with the ticket purchase. The remaining 65% will be automatically deducted from your credit card 30 days prior to the cruise trip start if you have not actively transferred the remaining balance through your HYROX Experiences Account until this deadline.

We strongly recommend that you take out private international health insurance and travel cancellation insurance.

Neither HYROX Experiences nor TUI Cruises will cover the cost of any medical treatment or other health-related expenses incurred during the trip. Any medical treatment received on board or ashore must be paid for privately and can only be reimbursed by your private insurance.

Furthermore, we recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance in case you need to cancel your trip unexpectedly due to illness or other personal reasons.

If the customer withdraws from the travel contract, Hyrox may demand reasonable compensation. For this purpose, Hyrox has established the following flat-rate fees.

These are determined as a percentage of the travel price based on the period between the notice of withdrawal and the start of the trip, taking into account expected cost savings and expected earnings from alternative use of the travel services, as follows:

• Up to 30 days in advance (until 21. September 2026): 35%
• 29 to 14 days in advance (22. September to 7. October 2026): 70%
• 13 to 7 days prior (8. October to 14. October 2026): 80%
• 6 to 1 day prior (15. October to 20. October 2026): 90%
• Day of departure / No-show (on 21. October 2026): 95%

Besides cancellations, we offer the option to change passengers’ names. To cancel your trip or request a name change, please contact our Customer Experience department via [email protected]

We highly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance in case you need to cancel your trip unexpectedly due to illness or other personal circumstances. This insurance may cover more costs than HYROX’s direct cancellation policy.

Baby Cot: Mein Schiff 4 has a limited number of baby cots available on board. They are 60 x 120 cm (max. body weight of the child must not exceed 15 kg). If you want to book a baby cot, please inform our customer service team via [email protected]. Alternatively, you can bring your own baby travel cot on board. A baby cot can be placed in nearly all cabins. There is no additional charge.

Baby Monitor: Mein Schiff 4 has a limited number of baby monitors available on board. If you want to book a baby monitor, please inform our customer service team via [email protected]. There is no additional charge. The baby monitors will be available at reception at the start of the cruise. Please note that there may be delays in transmission and connection due to the Wi-Fi connection.
To use the baby monitor on board Mein Schiff 4, you will need the Mein Schiff Baby monitor app. It is best to download this from the App Store (Android or iOS) before traveling. You will receive the corresponding camera on board.

Baby Supply: Other Baby items can be requested directly on board of the Mein Schiff 4 at the reception. Please note that it is not possible to purchase baby food and nappies on board.
Baby bottle warmers and sterilization devices for baby bottles are permitted on board. For safety reasons, the use of kettles and heated blankets is not permitted on board. Boiled water/milk for preparing baby food is available in all restaurants, please ask our staff in the restaurants. We recommend taking a thermos flask with you. Hot water for making tea is available at our bars. Please note that this water is not boiled.

Online check-in is mandatory for all travellers.
For guests with individual arrivals and departures, the following time slot generally apply:

Online check-in is possible from 21 days until midnight on the day of your cruise departure and you can find the online check-in in your personal “My Cruises” Portal online or within the “My Cruises” App

You will get your cruise ticket directly from Mein Schiff® through the My Cruises portal shortly before the trip once you have completed the online check-in procedure. The confirmation you receive from HYROX directly after the booking is only a temporary ticket. The real cruise ticket from Mein Schiff® contains important information, such as your cabin number or your assembly station. The cruise ticket is created after successful online check-in and is used for presentation at check-in. Your cruise ticket gives you access to the ship until you receive your cabin card.

In order to complete the online check-in, the passenger manifest details must be completed in full and a means of payment must be provided.

On the day of your arrival (21. October 2026) and on the departure day (25. October 2026) we will offer transport from the airport to the port / port to the airport. The shuttles will be subject to an additional fee.

More information on the shuttles will follow closer to the trip and will be bookable in the “My Cruises” portal.

Please have your cruise ticket (printed or in digital form) and your identity document ready at the port terminal. The Mein Schiff® crew will then check your ID and take a photo of you in accordance with the applicable security regulations before you can board the ship.

Your cabin will be available from 3:00 PM CET at the latest.

On the day of your arrival (21. October 2025), we will offer an early check-in at around lunchtime. In addition, you can drop off your luggage at the port from 8 AM CET, and it will be delivered to your cabin by evening. We will offer a a shuttle service between the port and Palma City (from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM CET) so you can drop of your luggage and enjoy the day in Palma City before the check-in.

More information on the Early Check-In and the shuttles will follow closer to the trip and will be bookable for an additional fee in the “My Cruises” portal.

Your cabin is available to you until 9:00 AM on the day of departure and you can spend time on board until 11:00 AM CET.

We provide you with Mein Schiff® luggage tags for labelling your luggage. You will receive these with your digital travel documents and can print them out afterwards. Please attach the luggage tags so that they cannot be torn off before departure. This will ensure that your luggage can be taken correctly to your cabin after the security check.

Your luggage may only contain items for personal use. It is not permitted to bring firearms, ammunition, pepper spray (including animal defence spray) and other items that can be used as weapons on board. It is also prohibited to bring drugs, acids, hazardous chemicals, flammable substances, your own radio equipment and aerials, medical equipment that does not meet the technical requirements and other dangerous goods (e.g. irons, heaters, candles). It is not permitted to bring cannabis (even for personal use). Folding or hunting knives and knives with a blade length of more than 10 cm may not be brought on board. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to bring your own multiple plugs and extension cables. We will be happy to provide you with these at reception.

In addition, plants with soil and roots, plant products, sand and shells are not permitted on board due to the risk of insects and bacteria. This also applies to any form of endangered species and plants.

Medical devices that do not meet the technical requirements and applicable safety regulations of the ships may not be operated on board. These will be retained by the Mein Schiff® crew during the safety inspection on land or on board.

Medication can be taken on board in compliance with the regulations of the countries and does not need to be registered.

Please note the following information: When taking medication with you (whether prescription or not), you are responsible for complying with the import and export conditions and the applicable entry regulations of the individual countries. As a tour operator, HYROX Experiences cannot provide any information or assistance regarding import regulations.

For reasons of hygiene, it is not permitted to take cooked, raw or unprocessed food on board. Packed and dry snacks such as crisps, nuts and sweets may be brought on board. Drinks may be brought on board as well. Please note, however, that each guest is responsible for complying with local regulations.

You can provide a German debit card or credit card (VISA, Mastercard, American Express). Please note that your credit card must be registered for the 3D Secure procedure.

The payment details can no longer be changed once they have been entered before travelling. Changes can only be made on board with the Mein Schiff® crew at reception.

We recommend that you take your credit card with you when travelling.

The Mein Schiff® App is your personal travel companion, from planning to holiday reminders. It helps you to book & plan your cruise, get information about the fleet and itineraries and manage your booked trips. You can download the app for free from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store.

To be able to use all the functions of the app and to manage your cruises in the app, you need a Mein Schiff® account. You can easily register by entering your e-mail address and a password of your choice. Then all you have to do is confirm your e-mail address and you can log in and add your cruises.

Alternatively, you can also use the browser based version of the “My Cruises” portal without an account by registering with your booking number.

Simply click on ‘+Add trips’ and enter your full first and last name and your booking number.
Note: You can only link your own trip to your account. Fellow travellers need their own account and enter their booking number and their own name.

It helps you to book & plan your cruise trip, get general information about the fleet and itineraries and manage your booked trip.
You will need to enter several relevant data before the trip through the “My Cruises” portal, do the check-in there and find all relevant information summarised. During the trip, you can view your bills and book additional items (e.g. wifi packages).
Within the “My Cruises” portal, you also book shore excursions, treatments and program points, reserve tables in the exclusive restaurants and much more. There are various program options available, which you can explore in advance and select according to your preferences. Make your daily schedule with the “My Cruises” app.

Please check the following steps with your smartphone:

1. First try closing the app completely
2. Restart your mobile phone
3. Reinstall the Mein Schiff® app once (your travel data will not be lost)
4. You can then log in again with your access data from your “My Cruises” account

If the app continues to have problems, please contact our customer service by e-mail at customer service ([email protected]) or our digital assistant ‘Thies’. To help you quickly help you quickly, we need the following information from you:

1. A description of the error that is as precise as possible and since when it has been occurring

You have Wi-Fi access in almost all public areas and in your cabins.
Please note that reception is limited. Various tariffs with different data packages are available and can be booked in the “My Cruises” portal shortly before the cruise start.

During the days when the ship is in port, you can use your EU roaming package (if applicable). Please remember to activate your flight mode as soon as the ship leaves the harbour, as otherwise you may incur expensive charges. If you still want to be online, we recommend to book an internet package (starting from a price of around 20€).

As the internet on board is provided via a satellite connection, the connection speed is not comparable to that on land. It is not possible to guarantee a continuous internet connection on open sea.

Wi-Fi access for guests in the suites and junior suites is already included in the cruise fare with no data limit. All cabin passengers might need to book additional Wi-Fi packages for an additional fee.

On board the Mein Schiff® fleet, your health and safety are our top priority. Therefore, all cabins and many public areas are non-smoking areas. Smoking is only permitted on private balconies and verandas and in the appropriately labelled areas. Please do not throw cigarettes or other tobacco products overboard. Please note that smoking cannabis or similar substances on board is strictly prohibited.

You pay on board in euros – cashless with your cabin card. Your cabin card is also your access pass to the ship. We recommend that you enter your American Express, Visa or MasterCard credit card or your German debit card when you check in online in the “My Cruises” portal.

The Mein Schiff® on-board currency is the euro.

There is a minibar in the suites and junior suites. This is included in the cruise price. The number of coffee capsules included is not limited for guests in suites and junior suites.

On board the Mein Schiff® fleet you have the option of drinks and food around the clock. The Mein Schiff® water dispensers are also available for you in the stairwells. Please note that the tap water on board is not drinking water. Bottles of water, both sparkling and still, are also available in your stateroom for an additional charge.
One espresso capsule is included per passenger per day.

You have the option of having your laundry cleaned conveniently in the Mein Schiff® on-board laundry. You will find laundry bags and a price list in your cabin. The Mein Schiff® housekeeping staff will bring the completed and signed price list with your laundry or cleaning items to the laundry. If you hand in your laundry by 09:00, you will get it back the next day (simple service) or if you need it quickly, you can get your laundry back the same day with the Mein Schiff® express service. Self-service washing machines and irons are not available.

The reception on deck 3 is open 24 hours a day. The Mein Schiff® crew will be happy to answer all your questions and take care of currency exchange, lost property and your on-board bill.

HYROX training sessions are open from age 16. Younger children cannot participate and must be supervised by another adult during training times.

The Mein Schiff 4 crew provides a limited children’s program and childcare for children who can speak German or English, to ensure communication with the care staff. However, please note that the HYROX Cruise is primarily a training and community event for adults. Please note that many public areas, such as the pool decks, are used for training sessions for most of the day. This means that there is limited space for children to play and relax. Parents are primarily responsible for looking after their children and creating a program for them. Parents must take full responsibility for their supervision at all times. For safety reasons, we ask you not to leave children under 12 years of age unattended on board at any time (e.g. during your shore excursions).

Pool use is allowed under parental supervision, but there is no dedicated children’s pool – children in nappies are not allowed to use the pools for hygiene reasons.

To ensure the safety of your children, climbing on the railing as well as other facilities is not permitted. In most cases, continuous Perspex panelling prevents climbing through the railing. Please note, however, that this is not possible in all places on board.

Should you ever lose your child, the Mein Schiff® crew at the reception will be happy to help you. If your child is not found after some time, a loudspeaker announcement can also be made. However, the children often know their way around so well after a very short time that they can find their way to the cabin on their own.

We would like to point out that the regulations of the German Youth Protection Act (www.bmfsfj.de) for the consumption of tobacco and alcohol by children and young people apply on board.

The Mein Schiff 4 crew provides a limited children’s program and childcare for children who can speak German or English, to ensure communication with the care staff. However, please note that the HYROX Cruise is primarily a training and community event for adults, offering unique experiences. To enable parents to participate, we allow children to accompany them. Please note that many public areas, such as the pool decks, are used for training sessions for most of the day. This means that there is limited space for children to play and relax. Parents are primarily responsible for looking after their children and creating a program for them.

Participation in HYROX training sessions and program points is possible from the age of 16. Unfortunately, younger children cannot participate in the sessions and must be supervised by another adult during their parents’ training time. Please note that this must be organised privately and we cannot guarantee that HYROX or the Mein Schiff 4 crew will provide supervision for children/toddlers.

There is no special children’s pool.
Children can use the pools on board under the supervision of a parent or guardian. The indoor pool on deck 12 are also designed in such a way that there is a shallow area.
For hygiene reasons, please note that small children wearing nappies cannot use the pools.

Children between the ages of 8 and 11 may only enjoy various wellness treatments in the SPA area when accompanied by a parent or guardian. From the age of 12, treatments are also possible without a parent or guardian, provided they have signed a consent form. Mein Schiff^® offers special Kids & Teens treatments for our younger guests (up to the age of 17).

16- and 17-year-olds may only go ashore without their parents or legal guardians with a written declaration of consent (shore leave permit for minors). This shore leave permit, signed by the legal guardian or parent according to the travel booking, is necessary to leave the ship alone or accompanied by a supervisor named in this document.

The document must be signed at reception in the presence of a member of staff before leaving the ship and is only valid for the ports listed there. The same regulation also applies to participation in shore excursions arranged or organized by TUI Cruises.

Children under 16 years are not allowed to disembark without their parents.

Please indicate any intolerances and dietary requirements before travelling at your “My Cruises” portal. At the beginning of the trip, there will be an exchange of information between interested guests and the Mein Schiff® specialist staff, where you can discuss your dietary requirements and food intolerances and allergies. In addition, you will receive the lunch and dinner menu of the Atlantik – Classic Restaurant in your cabin for the following day. You can tick your menu preference here and hand it in at reception. The Mein Schiff® crew will then serve you your choice of menu the following day. Even if you have already indicated your allergies and intolerances in advance, we would ask you to take part in this meeting. This is the only way we can ensure that you are only served dishes that you can enjoy without any worries.

To make you feel right at home on board right from the start of your journey, Mein Schiff® offers you the opportunity to get a taste of our gastronomic offerings: After embarkation, enjoy our Anckelmannsplatz – Buffet Restaurant with changing culinary experiences. Or perhaps you would like to linger on the pool deck or in the Tag & Nacht – Bistro on deck 5, which is open almost around the clock and will spoil you with a selection of freshly prepared snacks.

You will find a wide variety of vegetarian and vegan dishes in the Anckelmannsplatz – Buffet Restaurant, but vegetarian and vegan dishes are also available in other restaurants and bistros.

There are no fixed table times on board. Each restaurant has a general opening time. During these times, you are free to decide when you would like to dine.

A varied selection of drinks in the Mein Schiff® bars and lounges is already included: coffee specialties, soft drinks, beer, sparkling wine, wine, cocktails, long drinks, spirits etc. Additional wines, champagne, spirits, cocktails and other selected drinks are available for an extra charge.

In the buffet restaurant, there will be a separate children’s buffet, at children’s height, with age-appropriate dishes that change daily.

Child-friendly drinking cups are available at various points.

A modern hospital with German-speaking ship’s doctors, trained medical staff and primarily German medicines can be found on every Mein Schiff®. The range in the on-board pharmacy is equipped for general illnesses as well as for first aid and emergency treatment. Please refer to the daily programme for consultation times. Payment is made by cabin card, billing with the statutory health card is not possible. Treatment on a cruise ship is equivalent to a visit to a doctor in a third country (flag state Malta). Regional fee guidelines and your national health insurance do not apply on board. We therefore recommend that you take out private health insurance when travelling abroad. We cannot accept any liability for the reimbursement of treatments in full from your personal health insurance. Guests undergoing medical treatment should carry their medical records with them. In the event of a medical emergency, the patient is disembarked and taken to the nearest hospital on land. Oxygen equipment that works with ambient air is permitted on board. Unfortunately, dialysis and dental treatment cannot be carried out on board. The independent performance of peritoneal dialyses in the cabin is only permitted with prior notification.

You can purchase motion sickness pills at the on-board hospital after prior examination. Please note that there is a charge for this. You can also obtain free homeopathic tablets for seasickness from reception.

TUI Cruises has set itself the goal of minimizing the impact of its voyages on the environment. The clear aim is to constantly improve the own environmental footprint. A central task is to reduce environmentally harmful emissions caused by the Mein Schiff® fleet. TUI Cruises has ambitious, and third party approved climate reduction targets and continuously invests in measures to reduce fuel consumption and the associated greenhouse gas and air emissions. New ships are equipped with new propulsion systems, ready to use low-emission fuels. To reduce energy consumption on board, intelligent route planning and the reduced travelling speeds are integrated in the voyage planning. Various technical energy efficiency measures, such as silicon paint, energy management system and efficient air conditioning support fuel saving.

All Mein Schiff® vessels are equipped with a shore power connection, which enables them to use green electricity while at berth.

Of course. As a ship has a self-sufficient supply cycle, TUI Cruises takes care of the waste that is produced on board every day. TUI Cruises sets themselves recycling standards that are comparable to those on land: They separate paper, plastic, glass, aluminum, food waste and hazardous waste materials (such as batteries, energy-saving light bulbs and paint residues) and sort each waste fraction into a specific waste cycle. The environmental officers on board plan and monitor the disposal of the waste in ports in advance of each cruise. TUI Cruises has programs in place to reduce the use of single-use plastic as well as food waste onboard of the Mein Schiff® fleet.

Yes, there will be multiple program points such as workshops, shore excursions, additional special workout sessions, city runs and much more. You will be able to plan your travel days with the program points and book it closer to the cruise trip.

You will have the chance to participate in 5-6 training sessions over the trip. Additional training sessions and other program points may be booked (subject to availability).
