Monsoon 2.0 is a powerful, agentless monitoring platform built specifically for SONiC network environments with AI Chatbot.
It collects telemetry data via gNMI directly from SONiC switches, without requiring any per-device configuration.
Collected data is stored in Prometheus or InfluxDB, allowing efficient time-series analysis and real-time visualization in Grafana.

Latest Release and Updates
Monsoon 2.1.0 introduces a simplified and fully automated deployment process.
In this release, manual configuration steps, such as setting up the Grafana data source, copying the InfluxDB token, or importing dashboard JSON files, are no longer required.
To start monitoring, users only need to define the IP addresses of the target devices in the .env file (parameter: DISCOVER_NETWORKS) and run the standard command:docker compose up -d
All necessary components, including data sources and visualizations, are configured automatically during startup.
This update significantly reduces deployment time and minimizes the risk of configuration errors.
