Creativity is something you build over time. And when you’re open about that process, it makes it easier for others to start, too. In this episode of Creator Mode, I sat down with fashion creator Joe Ando-Hirsh to talk about his craft and what keeps him motivated. Joe has shared his journey, from early work that wasn’t perfect to pieces today that can take more than 150 hours to complete. What stood out to me is how clearly he sees creativity as accessible. Not as talent you’re born with, but as something you earn through repetition, patience, and care for the work. That mindset shows up everywhere right now; in how people are using new tools, in how creators are finding their voice, and in how progress actually happens. Take a listen to the conversation, and share something you’ve continued to improve simply by starting and sticking with it.

To mark the broad rollout of Agent Mode in Copilot, we had some fun recreating an iconic 90s Excel ad: same ad, smarter Excel. Watch the original: https://lnkd.in/gB4cpgwU

We're making a big change to the Copilot experience. Agent Mode is generally available and now the default across Copilot in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. As models become more capable, we’re bringing that power to where real work happens, right in the canvas. The power of a spreadsheet as an example is its spatial representation of information. What sits next to what, what feeds what. Give an agent that canvas to reason over, and a single prompt can reshape the model, the bridge, and the narrative at once. Read why: https://lnkd.in/g9adyV69

What if the box mattered as much as the device inside it? For the team behind Project Alder, it does. And it led to a full rethink of packaging – a total redesign that removes nearly all single-use plastics. Engineers, designers and a whole host of partners came together (for several hundred hours) to prove that sustainability can be built into the experience, not added on at the end. Find out more about the work that’s gone into making our packaging something that really matters, for product and planet: https://lnkd.in/gTgSrv5z

I had so much fun with Julian Duffy in Microsoft’s Packaging Design Studio in Redmond, where teams are rethinking how our products are packaged, tested, and shipped with sustainability built in from the start. The Studio is where old assumptions are challenged, materials are reconsidered, and new ideas are tested at scale, all while making sure products arrive safely to our customers around the world. It’s a constant balancing act - protecting products in transit while continuing to push toward our zero‑waste by 2030 goal. What stood out to me most from our conversation was the idea that sustainability isn’t one‑dimensional. Breadth and depth matter, and progress of every shape and size plays a role in designing sustainable products. Join me inside the studio and hear from Julian about how this work has evolved over the years. 🎥
